I just think it is strange that they have decided to respond today considering it's been going on for a month. Whatever was happening with the large changing of shares and the SP remainng has been completed and they have decided to make some announcements.
Strange tht they said thye would update us at end of Nov, nothing, large shares being bought beating the sells but SP says at 4p or below. Likely a big seller who has finally got rid of his shares and then today rns and updates next week.

The track record has been poor on rns. They have failed to ignite the SP in fact had the opposite.

If PL was confident then why hasn't he bought any shares at these prices. I understand the sensitivity with knowing price sensitivity news but he and other Management have had plenty of time to purchase shares.

I expect his update to be nothing exciting but a tick in the box and oh yeah, TT is our backbone yet again message !

I hope I'm completly wrong but track record.......

everyone getting in for their 5-10% gain for any bit of good news ! PL manged to lose around 50% of SP since start of 2012.

my guess update will be:

1. TT
There is load of oil there but we had unplanned maintenance work done to our drills but we will reach out TD by Q1 trust us it's out of my control but we have to abide by rules from others

2. Texas, we held out for the best price and we weren't going to let it go on the cheap because I want to get shareholder value which I have promised. So I'm keeping it so that I can draw ot the saga.

3. Columbia - we are close to having the paperwork completed but we couldn't find the pen. But trust me, there is alot of oil and I'm going to give you shareholder value

4. Putland there is oil and I know we promised alot and deliver nothing . However on the upside the 5miliion I gave for the airport runaway is paying dividends the government ministers are making good use of it, still negotiating the next runaway !

5. Georgia. still not sure if we are going for oil or gas but it's not far off but trust me.

FD never change their view, no matter how PL has failed throughout the year. The number i thought was interesting was their quote of $28m for Texas. I fully expect PL to get around the lower end of around $25m, anything more and that would amaze me ! Horrendous chart for 2012, over 60% down from start of the year from the peak of 16p well what can someone say !

Agree pumben. Are FD talking out their backside ? Good time in the near future to buy back shares, is the sp being driven down for this ? Market not happy with the way the company is going forwards or more sideways. I thought they had 250 staff in TT, now they need to train more ? ,
Not worth selling in the 3's. I cannot see this getting to 10p ( Im out if it does) let alone Fd's 25p ( What decade ?) as they do not say when.

Had a re-read Fd's 25p Is a 12 month target from the report day. They baffle me, thats a 6 fold increase on 4p. I'm far from convinced. Anyones views much appreciated.
