it will be self-apparent in a couple of days as to whom has made the wrong call ..... tabby - i recollect just before christmas how you were telling us all how wonderfully M&S were doing ..... that has proved to be hopelessly wrong ...... whether or not the market thinks the worst is over or even that M&S could be taken out by a predator remains to be sen.

The news that M&S are to sack around 1,000 employess seems to be pretty widespread today. Sky News said that many staff have been informed that the jobs cuts will be announced tomorrow.
