I used to like AEX but not anymore and it appears to be a company run just to make some fund managers money.

They keep having placings and allowing fund managers access to cheap stock, the price is then ramped up and the fund managers sell and lock in a profit.

The price falls back for the next discounted placing where the same fund managers get discount stock and the pump and then dump happens again and again and again.

Its years of this going on and the shares in issue just keeps rising and rising.

P.I.'s should adopt the same tactic.

Dump stock on any spike, wait for the next placing and buy cheap and then dump again straight away on any rise. There will be another placing as Likonde-2 has to be paid for and all this talk of other "options" is, IMO, just trying to deflect from the fact another placing is coming in a few months time and everyone thinks that, however in the meantime the fund managers want to dump their placing stock at a profit and so are trying to talk the stock price up, or at least keep it high for the moment while they sell for a profit.

From somewhere on today's Share Magazine >>>>>>

Risk-tolerant investors could consider picking up minnow oil explorer Aminex (AEX:FULL) ahead of what could be a busy and potentially high-impact drilling programme in 2011. The 37.6 million cap indicated in its third-quarter interim management statement (18 Nov) it was planning a four-well campaign next year.

This is likely to comprise two exploration wells in Tanzania and two development wells on its Shoats Creek licence in Louisiana. The first Tanzanian site is expected to be drilled on its 50% owned Nyuni licence.

Independent consultants have put the potential resource of the three identified prospects on Nyuni at 4.9 trillion cubic feet of gas. In the second half, the company will bore a hole on the Ruvuma licence, in which it has a 37.5% stake. The block is operated by Tullow Oil (TLW).
A 2010 well, Likonde, established the presence of oil but was not a commercial discovery. The drilling on Shoats Creek will be followed by a reserves report which could be a further catalyst. The key risk is the explorer will not be able to secure the funds necessary to carry out this proposed activity.

Aminex is essentially debt free after a $2.7 million placing earlier this month (15 Nov) but says it is considering alternative methods of financing its 2011 programme.
Shares says: Exciting exploration schedule. Speculative Buy at 8.6p.
