Farm in news must be getting near, only say 6 weeks to Loligo spud and the farm in partner will likely want to review the drill proposal pre-spud..........

cynic - 10 May 2012 12:31 - 526 of 2393

certainly there's a twitch of life in the corpse, but that is pretty much true across the board today

HARRYCAT - 10 May 2012 12:39 - 527 of 2393

A corpse implies no further life. I prefer 'patient' (very sick one with weak vital signs, but nevertheless, still in the land of the living!)

cynic - 10 May 2012 12:43 - 528 of 2393

lazarus? ..... wife + sex?

HARRYCAT - 10 May 2012 12:48 - 529 of 2393

Divine intervention would certainly give things a lift! Not sure that we are top of his list for assistance though!

required field - 10 May 2012 14:17 - 530 of 2393

No more trading for me now......need some profits showing before doing anything...so perhaps time to sit on my hands for a couple of weeks....at least it's up today.....

Proselenes - 11 May 2012 08:24 - 531 of 2393

Order book for BOR and FOGL looking strong, looks like there might be more news that just spudding on Monday then ?

cynic - 11 May 2012 08:34 - 532 of 2393

superficially yes - i.e. 2:1 - but in small volume - only 200k traded so far

required field - 11 May 2012 09:09 - 533 of 2393

Up still the same.....if normal market conditions returned : we would be way above 100p by now !....

required field - 11 May 2012 09:37 - 534 of 2393

Nice sharp rise......just as I like it !.....like a breath of fresh air this one.....!...

Proselenes - 16 May 2012 14:53 - 535 of 2393

Confirmation that ONGL was not the confirmed 25% farm in partner......but another one who was looking for 35%.

I dropped DES in favour of more FOGL....perhaps I have too many of these.....fingers crossed for more discoveries.....

halifax - 16 May 2012 16:38 - 537 of 2393

rf what discoveries?

required field - 16 May 2012 17:51 - 538 of 2393

Gas .....Hali....with BOR......Loligo might have trillions of cubic feet...and if the reservoir targets have oil.....it would be sensational.....

halifax - 16 May 2012 18:45 - 539 of 2393

rf its all if if if.....

required field - 16 May 2012 18:50 - 540 of 2393

With wildcats : it is but there is a confirmed working petroleum system here, so there is a big chance of something being found and the seismic confirms it.....

halifax - 16 May 2012 18:51 - 541 of 2393

rf so far tens of millions spent on drilling result no commercial oil or gas where to from now? perhaps the Indians know better by telling ONGC to steer clear.

required field - 16 May 2012 18:54 - 542 of 2393

Hang on.....the condensate might be in commercial quantity for BOR...we don't know yet.....but it looks that way......you cannot go by any report from India.....

halifax - 16 May 2012 18:57 - 543 of 2393

rf why is it going to take months to analyse gas condensate .... they are buying time.

required field - 16 May 2012 18:59 - 544 of 2393

Possibly...to me this is too early days.....3 wells to go...perhaps a fourth.....there are numerous prospects.....so big chances of a strike....and the prospects FOGL are going to target are closer to Sealion than Darwin......Loligo is nowhere near Darwin or Stebbing.....150 miles away !......too far away to be remotely associated....
