Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

When our troop's left for the Falkand's , and all the people at Portsmouth were cheering and the band's were playing. I thought to myself what a lot of fuss , all that will happen is it will all settled by negotiation, never thought there would be a war.

If she was in power , would we still be in the EU or have spent 10 years in Iraq and Afghanistan ? Would she have overthrown Mugabe .

Except that they (the big boys) will just go on the acquisition trail and buy into that technology if they think it is going to be a goer.

But I think they said in the interview on TV that it will be 30 to 35 years before Hydrogen cars are likely to be available and supplied with fuel by a network of "Filling Stations" in Europe. That and there are only 2 cars in the world and each cost millions to develop. Maybe in my sons generation!

I see you've come back with a bang then Mr C. I'm glad some others here are not feeling too young either... but even so, I reckon we'll reap some decent rewards from RKH within 4-5 years, so hopefully still within my lifetime :)
Not looking too promising so far this week though

Seriously what news is the market waiting for - I can't believe the price is low less than half the high and now we know so much more!!! Can anyone help? I know the markets have been in a terrible state the last few months but still can understand the current price...
