prop,
LOL!
Well the footy was poor, but to compensate us, SEY are setting the market alight today, now up 5%, or 1p!
I wonder why?

Why the sudden movement this year. I cannot find any new news? Have I missed something?

Jimward,
It may be the anticipation of Chinguetti production commencing Feb / Mar 2006!
Effectively we are now within T trading range.

Thanks Andy but,
Seems a bit early for Feb/March production, to have this much effect on the share price. A lot of trades and some are larger than normal ?

jimward9,
yes but I think people are going to buy in anticipation of a price rise when production commences, and if you trade T25, and rollover the permitted once, any T25 s bought now should be active when production commences.
For this reason I expect a rise in both price and volume as the month progresses, and once we are into February, we will be in range of T10 rollovers, and I expect the action to really start.
The shrewd money will be in early IMO.

You mean the tortoise surely?
Yes pondy, and about time too.
I really hope that it leaves these areas for good now. It's been a long haul.

Pond life, Poo,
Yes another decent rise backed by volume!, maybe this is the push we have all been waiting for?
Amevscap adding once again, and now holding 23% gives some serious credibility to SEY, IMHO.
Of course we have the possibility if other news coming along as well, it's not all about Chinguetti, but the short term focus certainly is.

Andy
I took your advice on SEY topped up 10k more shares yesterday.
Have applied for a cfd account, but will not be active untill mid week, cannot see anything about (rollovers) in literature sent to me.
If you have any could you send me a copy, have sent my email address to you.
Will be going long on SEY as soon as I can, but only a small buy (tax man wants me to invest in him by the end of this month 20k+on last years gains.)

Looks like you have to pay some more tax soon Jim. SEY seems to have started the long awaited move north in anticipation of the start of production at Chinguetti.
With luck we'll even break the resistance at 21p once we have confirmation of production. An RNS should provide us with the necessary impetus.

Hi all, I wonder what your views are re. SEY. We have seen the recent success of Hardman Resources in Africa and sp incresae and SEY operates in the same arena.
I wonder whether its sensible to purchase sey at approx 19p or is it too late. Surely the mauritania explorations will significantly increase cash flow but what are your views in terms of where the sp will peak! Just thinking whether to further increase my holding or not? any advice would be most welcomed!
