Mathew Martoma, SAC, US Hedge fund and Ex Havard Law, just been sentenced for insider trading (apparently Martoma expelled for changing his grades and forging papers) sentenced after doctors were "spilling secrets to Martoma during lucrative consultations with financiers" and he was "convicted of helping his company earn more than $250m illegally through trades based on secrets about the testing".

if there is any widespread bear covering - depends what pressures or geed or whatever come to drive the hedge funds - then sp could whizz

I am well short, well in profit, and have further trades planned for any rise. Plus I'll be selling today's closing auction.

Today may well see shorts close for the weekend, but, barring any significant weekend news, they'll reopen on Monday morning in the auction, at a lower price.

Here, here Cynic... I've closed one of my long positions today for a nice profit and have one small unrealised loss (127.12 long DFT), money to be made long and short at the moment. Neither position is arguably better it all depends on timing.
