NIGHTHAWK 6 BAGGER ON DEBUT. (HAWK)

oilyrag - 12 Mar 2007 07:10

Pre IPO price 4p
Opening price on debut 25p
Floatation price 46p to raise 14million to extend Jolly Ranch
Current fair value estimate 114p
Market cap 70.59 million.
Value of Cisco Springs investments 98 million.
Value of Vogel investments 75 million.
Desparado trucking now Nightfox 250,000 for a 50% stake with partner Running Foxes.
Centurion Project Kansas, 150,000 for a 50% stake.
Jolly Ranch Colorado, 40,000 acres cost 356,000 for a 50% stake.
Cash in bank 7.75 million.

As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

This slide is ridiculous if you read through the RNS's....4p..? I hope not anyway I'm in not for the quick buck....loads and loads of wells being drilled !,....when all this starts to come on line...there will be money coming in !,....at the moment people are panicking...but nice OPEC meeting tomorrow might help...I bought now because I cannot watch the sp every minute.....so I have to go for value !.

halifax - 23 Oct 2008 17:49 - 537 of 1373

Final results for year ended 30th June now due it will be interesting to learn how much oil/gas was produced. David Bramhill has always said it was his intention to sell out to another oily, not much chance of that happening at present.

gibby - 23 Oct 2008 22:13 - 538 of 1373

think i'll buy in tomorrow assuming no increase - it is a steal at current pricing - hawk production will keep increasing now which was a bit of a hinderance b4 in earlier days

gnashlevel2 - 24 Oct 2008 07:59 - 539 of 1373

The Jolly acreage alone is set to be sold some time ahead and even modest worst-case figures are well north of 500p a share, more liekly 600p.

Think about that when you can schnaffle these for 22p -that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity has just been brought about by the crash and hedgies forced offloading, nothing bad at all by hawk.

500 or 600p shared out between just 206M shares? FFS just how much free money do you want? -and that is just the one project (Jolly Ranch)

Truly, only the THICK are not grabbing these up at these prices.

Well I picked some up yesterday....gone down a little today....must be near the bottom now....and then there will be a rapid mark up.....one of the best bargains on Aim....at the moment....though there are plenty to choose from !.

gnashlevel2 - 24 Oct 2008 08:27 - 541 of 1373

tbh everything (apart from hedge funds and bloody banks) is a bargain now, but hawk has a really high multi-bag run ahead when the market turns. Probably one of the highest out there, banks'll never be trusted again.

oilyrag - 24 Oct 2008 08:36 - 542 of 1373

I'll give it another hour or so to see if it falls to sub 20p. Being Friday, historically sp rises nicely as peeps don't like to be out over the weekend.

required field - 24 Oct 2008 08:40 - 543 of 1373

I note that a few investors here are thinking of buying in...perhaps for once I did the right thing of picking up some yesterday !.

CWMAM - 24 Oct 2008 08:40 - 544 of 1373

Bought @23p is this the bottom or close to it??

CWMAM - 24 Oct 2008 08:42 - 545 of 1373

Just ticked up.

required field - 24 Oct 2008 08:43 - 546 of 1373

I would like to think so...tuck them away, in a few months time they will be back above 30p again !.

CWMAM - 24 Oct 2008 08:45 - 547 of 1373

Thanks RF might buy a few more before the day is finished

gnashlevel2 - 24 Oct 2008 08:56 - 548 of 1373

rf, in a few months they could be double that, 30p suggests months of level sp progress, hawk has never done level :-)

oilyrag - 24 Oct 2008 09:05 - 549 of 1373

gnash, As soon as market sorts its self out, and its starting with higher levels of investment on spread bets from yesterday, then I would expect a very sharp rise to the 60p level. This could also be pre-empted by a single positive RNS. IMHO.

At the moment we have a considerable quantity of distressed sellers and short term sp could still fall. Good luck to all.

gnashlevel2 - 24 Oct 2008 09:18 - 550 of 1373

oily, look a few weeks, or months ahead. An RNS starts "the directors of NightHawk are pleased to announce advanced discussions with xyz on the sale of the Jolly Ranch lease..."

That morning the sp will be the star of the markets and the doomsayers and nervous-nigels who stayed out at these prices will regret it the rest of their lives.

Something to look forward to, Bramhill will pull this off, it's hurtling towards us like a train

oilyrag - 24 Oct 2008 09:30 - 551 of 1373

In that senario, you could be looking at 300p to 500p area. DB always said that as soon as mcap reached his target, he would sell.

gnashlevel2 - 24 Oct 2008 09:37 - 552 of 1373

I am convinced he will pull this off before he gets OSC floated, any number of BigOil will want that field now, they just need to fully verify the oil there. They may well do this very discreetly and sooner than anyone expects. This is an internationally significant discovery and the idea it will just have passing BigOil attention is crazy. They are probably already doing the math.

oilyrag - 24 Oct 2008 09:46 - 553 of 1373

That I believe is his intention, to sell HAWK before floating OSC, as it must be a headache running one floated company, nevermind two.

I for one will be following DB into that one.

required field - 24 Oct 2008 11:38 - 554 of 1373

I cannot believe that anyone would now sell at this price and yet they are...nuts !, anyone worked out what the market cap is now ?.

halifax - 24 Oct 2008 11:54 - 555 of 1373

Market cap around 40m, sp continues to slide.
