Happy people here today!! Cracking days rise on the back of 1 drilling update. Think what the next few months will bring with the weekly drilling updates for Mauritania alone. Exciting times lie ahead!

Not at all, we all have to learn these things.
Must say it has been a good week on paper for me, lucky or what?
However it is also a case of "Who dares, Rodney.........."
The next few onths should very very interesting.
I envied the PET people but there is a real chance of the same happening here.

exactly...
you had a lovely week with PRE and now rounding it off with a move in the right direction with SEY. hopefully the most spread takeover rumour in the city with AMEC turns out to be fact and then i will be an exceedingly happy bunny.

prop, don't know what you think but the doubling of profit for the last 6 months never showed in the price did it?
Also, I can not find an announcement in repect of the drilling from Sterling.
If there was one, I feel sure that people would associatye the drilling with the Company and with the free carry, plus royalties from PMO, (the latter now looking a dead cert imho) which would equate to a much larger rise.

Wish you luck with your AMEC deal Prop, and SW's still up on PRE, and now we are all doing well here with SEY. What a good few days! But I do feel the best is still definitely to come here.

I also hold HNR. I bought in at 81p, so that is +9.
I had not intended to keep those, but the way things have gone, I think I have to

cheers, gavdfc..lets see what the rest of the day/week brings.
SWW the only thing about holding HNR and SEY is that you have two bets on the same outcome...i am 100% behing you in confidence in terms of strikes but for me i tend to back one horse in each race imho. saying that you are money up and worst case you put a stop loss in....

Me too.HNR was one of the first shares I ever bought. What a shame I didn't have the foresight to invest more than 250. originally as they were 19p when I first bought.Live and learn I guess, I hope.

500K at 17.25 just gone through. HNR doing well also, quids in for those holding both if Mauritania comes up trumps. Anyone looking at anything else right now? Am currently looking at SIA with a view to buying soon. Not selling anything to fund it though, especially SEY.

prop, probably right about two horses, that is how I saw it but I jumped in for 10k of HNR when the bottom fell out a few weeks back.
They are nearly back at the previous level, and the news coming in as it is has changed my plans for now, about selling at +10, (10%).
I am not staying in with them though, SEY is the better bet.
