Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.
You are probably right skinny, though the one here you are more likely to find your car jacked up on bricks & the alloy wheels missing when you come out than finding a bargain in store!
Harry the nearest one to me is too far away to make it cost effective - but my brother-in-law loves it for the fruit and veg - cheap and excellent quality. I'm partial to hazelnuts , which he gets for me and they are cheaper than anywhere else I can find - unless I want to buy 50kg.
The cob - or filbert is a longer nut - I eat them most days - particularly at my desk as a substitute for less healthy snacks - largely with success - they are also a good source of vitamin E.
Interesting data on Vitamin E and from previous experience can warn that dosage can be too high as E is a stored vitamin unlike others which are washed through and need a daily intake. Almonds are a slightly better source, imo.
Harry - I understand the nuances of Vitamin E v other vitamins - there are some studies that indicate an excess can increase the chances of prostate cancer. My younger daughter is pregnant and as she is lactose intolerant, I researched other sources of calcium etc - good old fashioned greens are pretty good.
Broker Westhouse says that Rockhopper Exploration's (LON:RKH) news that the Ocean Guardian drilling rig suffered a loss of power on Sunday was a "minor incident" which does not affect its view of the company.
It reiterates its 'buy' recommendation for the stock and targets a price of 658 pence.
The firm said today that power has now been re-established and appropriate checks are currently being made before the rig is re-manned. After that, normal operations are expected to resume within a week
I'm at a loss on this one, bought a December future a couple of weeks back at 219.45. I'll more than likely roll over the future but moving forward I can see dilution as Rockhopper will require mass financing.
