pretty new to all this. I have pumped some into Deltex - looks like a strong product with good growth. Could be a steady gainer.
Does anyone else have this, and anyone have some research on it? Someone with more experience than me!

Looks like it's just us two at the moment talking to each other.
As to your last comments, I fully agree. If the last couple of releases don't get things going full flow, nothing will.

Looks that way atm greekman, but once this starts to motor there will be other interesting posts I'm sure. DEMG had a fund raising last june/july in order to gear up for expansion then, always better in my view to be ahead of the curve, and let's face it, it is for expansion not re-negotiating debt. With it's low capitalisation DEMG's sp should respond to any reasonable buying volume.

This release is about as clear as MUD. Obviously it's report of a sell but it does not state how many shares were sold only that the holding goes to below reporting level.

I hold my hand up that the Mill plus that I thought was an institution buy on Fri was almost certainly the sell now being reported.

The new updated CardioQ is being rolled out. Nice to see a company looking to the future and not waiting to see if potential competitors are catching up.
The money raised of late is being well invested.

The UK government, through the Center for Evidence-based Purchasing recently published a highly positive review of the impact of oesophageal Doppler monitoring that included detailed models of cost-benefit. The report noted the significant potential for oesophageal Doppler monitoring and that even in the lowest case it was possible to achieve savings of at least 3 for every 1 spent on the technology.

Q Der, does that mean its a good buy then? R. Er yes!

If their (NHS management's ) a**e was on fire it would take them several months to decide whether to put it out or let it carry on burning.
Talk about blood brain dead. Useless the lot of them.
They make Homer Simpson look like Einstein.
No wonder the NHS is in such a comatose mess.

But on a sensible note, my question is simply. What more do they need to convince them?

Below is the history for achieving the first million pounds worth of sales for UK only.

In 2003, the 1st million sales was achieved by 20th Nov.

In 2004, the 1st million sales was achieved by 15th Sep.

In 2005, the 1st million sales was achieved by 27th July.

In 2006, the 1st million sales was achieved by 21st June.

In 2007, the 1st million sales was achieved by 31st May.

In 2008, the 1st million sales was achieved by 25th April.


The slow and steady track of growth is intact. We only need one of the many intiatives being pursued at the moment to kick off and then things should really start to get interesting.

Interesting (positive) figures.

So NICE are to cut the time of drug approval from 2 years to 6 months. NICE have been taking those 2 years to decide if a drug should be generally available on the NHS, and this is after the drug has been through all the safety approval trials which NICE already except. It has also been mentioned that patient may have a right to these drugs once given Nice approval, and yet differing NHS trusts still often make their own decision as to having that particular drug available.
Although it has been proven AND excepted by all the relevant authorities that the CardioQ saves lives and money (a no brainer), the NHS still don't have orders in for as many as could be needed, so the chances of any organization connected with the NHS, or the government deciding anything within a 6 month time frame is not credible.
Anything this government releases re the NHS, is just more spin.
Still a great believer in he Cardio, and as confident as ever we will get there, but the main route will not be via the NHS.
I would love to be proven wrong.

Latest trial results.
They indicate results consistent with previous trials in other types of surgery including reduced post-operative complications and reduced lengths of hospital stay.
The full study is designed to include over 100 patients and the doctors expect it to take at least another 18 months to complete, although further interim results may become available sooner.

Also.
Three non-executive directors have elected to take shares in lieu of a cash payment as remuneration for their services to the Company. In addition, certain of the Company's advisor's have elected to take shares in lieu of cash payment for their services to the Company.
Always good to see confidence by those in the know.

Like most (almost all) releases by Deltex, it's very positive.

Perhaps Deltex should make a few waves in the media via 3rd parties (just like the government does, but they are called leaks).
Whenever I have explained with friends/colleagues how the CardioQ system works saving lives and money, the usual first response is something like, 'If it's that good, why are the NHS not using it in every hospital'. They like all of us can't see the logic of none general use. If the CardioQ was a drug that saved lives and money, and had passed all the relevant trials that the Cardio has there would be very adverse government aimed comments if they withheld it due to finance.
To me it's nothing short of a scandal.
Although yesterdays news was similar to the many released after trials, there is nothing in the media this morning.
If the CardioQ had been a mega global medical company's product it would have been the subject of mass media interest by now, perhaps even becoming a subject of media debate with our Secretary of State for Health, Alan Johnson.
I would love to see such a debate on TV, with the Secretary desperately trying to find just one reason why such a piece of equipment is not in general use. I think even using pure government speak, he would find it impossible to defend the none general use.
I have never had a share try my patience for so long, but still confident that it will come good, as long as the procrastination of time doesn't overtake the issue.

Nice trading update this morning with the main point being.
The Company expects sales for the six months ended 30 June 2008 to be in excess of 2.4 million and to be more than 25% higher than in the corresponding period in 2007 when sales were 1.9 million.

Comparing sales each quarter to the corresponding quarter in the preceding year, the Company has achieved 10 consecutive quarters of growth in global probe sales, underpinned by 14 consecutive quarters of growth in UK probe sales and eight in International probe sales. Quarterly group probe sales were over 1 million for the first time ever in the second quarter of 2008.

Probably under the present climate, won't make much difference to the sp, but we are slowly heading toward that final fence, IE General UK take up, mass USA/rest of world contacts.
It is only main market sentiment holding this back.

Can't remember the last time there were No Trades in Deltex for a complete trading day.

On a day when just about all the market is down Deltex are up 50p on low volume, with sells 2 to 1 against buys.
Probably nothing but it does make one wonder.
Hopefully the several weeks of silence is coming to an end, or am I seeing only what I want to see.

Every little helps.
