With video search set to be the next big growth area BLNX have the software the likes of Microsoft, Google and NewsCorp would love to have.

In fact BLNX have done deals with most of these, the most recent being the UtargetFox deal which has been reported in the USA but not RNS'd in the UK.

I could say that your posts are too positive., but I wouldn't as I don't really care what you post. You seem upset because people are being nasty to the object of your adoration. Get used to it as I suspect that there is more and worse coming.

How many advertisers have pulled out of Blinkx, made a statement otherwise or sought any clarity or taken a position to seek compensation from Blinkx? This is one man's moment of fame, don't blow it out of proportion until we know otherwise.

It is very difficult to tell what the fallout is going to be. Advertisers wouldn't say much at this point. If Blinkx have been faking video views then all hell will break loose as other companies will be doing it as well. The business models of some high profile companies will be called into question.

This long gap before a robust reply does give any guilty parties to cover their tracks.

Is pretty clear by the share performance and profits for the last few years, you were wrong all along and now ( will see ).

I only bought recently due to the share price drop, as I take the view the ass. professor is a con man and being used as he is to filled his pocket.

Made money last week and currently in profits also.

If you have no position on the stock, I see it as a waste of time to be around all along

Well then that would depend on the exact advertising model used. Sure pay per click could have a fallout, if however a company has paid to run an ad infront of a video for say a month only (maybe a film or product trailer prior to launch) then what fallout could there be, there ad was run for the month at x cost...

I don't, but to assume that they didn't offer any other advertising campaigns other than pay per click would severly hinder any potential revenue model and be madness when the likes of facebook offer time based ads to select criteria...

Haystack, the customer could only possibly overpay if they pay per click..... What if the customer paid a fee for a weekly campaign and it was done accross x amounts of channels or videos.. Lets not assume that Blinkx offer only pay per click which would be revenue limiting.. If your contracts for a week regardless of the amount of clicks and you paid for and received a week what claim would there be if some clicks were false??

Thats correct Cynic, a hypothesis that doesn't even span all sales but based on those where buy revenue was generated as a pay per click means only.

Its worth considering the difference between time based ads and click based also. Most advertisers budgets target particular times of the year, two weeks before Christmas, product launch week before sporting events etc. These campaigns have no interest in running say a million clicks which may take them over a month or two. They want high exposure at a certain point in time and thats what they pay for the same as TV or press ads are time/size related.

Am bored with the narrow range that the price has settled into, and with the drop in volume. Have now covered almost all of current short position for a small profit - pennies compared to the white knuckle rides of the last few weeks.
