On 18 May'09 there was news of StatoilHydro has reached agreement with BPC to become the
operator of three offshore exploration licences

Chief Operating Officer Paul Crevello said :
"Some of the structures are very large. There is potential for multiple 500 million cubic meter (of reserves) fields,"
"BPC was also interested in "farming out" to partners its remaining five licences offshore Bahamas."

Now at 3.75p, Broker Fox-davies has a 13p price target on the company.

24p now.....will be drilling by then.....60 to 80p....job to guess .....but I reckon that the survey results are going to be good....that is why the sp is rising now....a bit of a Falklands effect here....

no thanks .... i'm very happy to be a voyeur on this one .... and what makes you so certain that BPC has oil? ..... DES reckoned it had too, and even the majors only have a strike rate of about 20%, though TLW has been much more successful of late

ah; the real professionals then! ..... if BPC does indeed find commercial oil, i shall be delighted for you all, but even at that juncture, as i have said on other threads, there'll be plenty of time to make some decent money

In life, only death and taxes are guaranteed, so yes no one can be certain they have oil, so we will have to wait and see. My enthusiasm getting the better of me.
