China Petroleum & Chemical Corp., the world’s biggest refiner, is weighing a takeover of beleaguered Kurdish oil producer Gulf Keystone Petroleum Ltd., people familiar with the matter said.

The state-owned oil giant, known as Sinopec, is working with advisers and has made an approach to Gulf Keystone, said the people, who asked not to be named because the deliberations are private. The company, which has a market value of about 293 million pounds ($371 million), may also attract other bidders, they said. No final decisions have been made and any talks may not lead to a deal, the people said.
A spokesman for Gulf Keystone declined to comment. A representative for Sinopec didn’t have an immediate comment.

Gulf Keystone has confirmed that a gross payment of $15.0m ($12.0m net to GKP) has been received from the Kurdistan Regional Government for Shaikan crude oil export sales in August.

Well i've bought back in here after losing money as did many , only 2000 odd but want to make some of that loss back . Nadhim Zahawi has left to be in Education , ( heaven help us ) and a new sales agreement signed with the KRG , this may open up opportunities regards new drilling or increasing production , wish me luck .

AGM coming up 13 July , should maybe know more of intentions going forward , but good cash in bank , regular increasing payments , de- bottling of existing holes , using pumps to increase output , expected to start on drilling new wells , re- issue of Bonds saving money , that's it roughly .

Oh yes should be using new spur to take oil along pipes saving money on transporting in oil tankers .

AGM today and holders looking for more info on increasing output etc , also RNS over payments from KRG for April of $24 million gross , don't expect much more info myself as it would be in an RNS but things looking good here .
