PIPEX COMMUNICATIONS - TIPPED FOR 2004 (PXC)

moneyman - 03 Jan 2004 20:03

Tipped by the independent 2/01/2004

........."And so to our traditional "wild card". Pipex Communications, formerly known as GX Networks, is a telecoms company created by one of the entrepreneurs behind Ukbetting, Peter Dubens. It has been assembled from six smaller players. The ambitious company is generating cash for the first time but is still not widely followed in the City. It could be an undiscovered gem".

500,000 buy at 8.25p looks a bit tastey!

skyhigh - 08 Oct 2004 16:16 - 551 of 1874

Yes, wierd isn't it.. everyones carried on selling & there was 250,000 sold @ 7.75p what's going on ?

This has been sideways for so long now, i hope its basing ready to break thru the resistance level, its still top up time for me.

mickeyskint - 11 Oct 2004 11:22 - 554 of 1874

I'm begining to think this is going nowhere. I'm getting really tempted to off load an invest elsewhere. Good company good management too many shares in issue 1106.8642 millions.

mickeyskint.
I know what you mean about too many shares in issue. However, there have been many shares like this that I've sold and then a short time after the price starts to go up and I've missed out. Only to find that the share I've gone into instead goes down or does nothing either. Good luck whatever you do.

I know how you feel. Seems a good company but you just get fed up with waiting . Especially with such an abundance of good news which has no effect at all. I sold a couple of months ago,but still keep an eye on it.

I'm exactly the same as you. It's not easy this share dealing still if it was everybody would be doing it. I wonder if Mystic Meg's got an old crystal ball she does'nt want?

Watching this share is like listening to paint dry (no I don't mean watching paint dry, this isn't that exciting) But is there any other reasons why this share should rise? I have seen all the other reasons but this is still going sideways.

skyhigh - 12 Oct 2004 14:00 - 561 of 1874

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

mickeyskint - 12 Oct 2004 14:49 - 562 of 1874

Don't think the city is too interested in this one.

Quite a few 'unknown' trades gone through today, all at the same price of 8p. I still believe we may see a RNS declaring a substantial holding in due course. Time will tell.

My guess is that if C&W wanted this an offer of around 9p wouldn't be far off the mark at this time.

mickeyskint - 13 Oct 2004 15:13 - 567 of 1874

Some interesting postings on other BB's.

Troys - 13 Oct 2004 15:33 - 568 of 1874

9p not much of an offer !

mickeyskint - 13 Oct 2004 15:39 - 569 of 1874

Can't see management taking that.
