prop,

It's nothing personal I'm sure!

Another day another small drop, I do wonder whether thay are trying to take out the T traders? For this reason I didn't T trade production startup, I just kept my holding.

SWW, Queen1,

Good to see two respected posters work that out in such a decent fashion, sadly extremely rare in BB land.

I used to read the recipes after eating a somewhat plain meal too!

seawallwalker - 01 Mar 2006 15:22 - 5551 of 7811

Ha!

So the old recipes did something to someone, but it amounts to the same thing.

Who has gone prop?

There certainly seems to be a hoover in operation for these shares that are being sold.

We never did get an RNS concerning the the 2 41 mil trades, so I am convinced it was Amvescap moving stock from one fund to another.

Come on the bid, or come on the prelims, either way I would like to move to the next price range now.

Some people can take things too seriously, i know that share trading is a serous business but my teacher used to say have some fun along the way, so whats the recipe for today. Regards goal.

Andy - 01 Mar 2006 16:54 - 5556 of 7811

goal,

Personally I have more fun on up days!

And the down days are just to ensure we appreciate the up days when they arrive.

I just can't work out why SEY responds so slowly to good news, I think the results now look like the next possible focus point for a rerating.

la lee la! :-(

Looking at the chart above, there is a continuation pennant forming if i am not mistaken, 25p is the resistance IMO because we have been there a few times in day trading & always pull back,if we get pass 25p, 30p could be the next target.

Andy - 01 Mar 2006 21:01 - 5558 of 7811

goal,

Yes I agree with that, but I feel it may be some time before we pass 25p personally.

SEY look solid at this price IMO, but we may need confirmation all is ok technically in MAuritania, full production has been reached, and the results before we make te next major move upwards.

Sunray41 - 01 Mar 2006 21:27 - 5559 of 7811

SEY has a historical and current reluctance to post news on anything apart from straight lifts from HNR speak. I am the biggest opponent of spin you could get but they now do have a story-board that deserves a mention. I agree the price looks solid but to get it higher we need confirmation on the production progress and a more regular review on the company progress overall.
Perhaps if they have to mount a defence against the vultures we will get a change of pr attitude, nothing else seems seems to stimulate them to put fingers on keyboard.
Meanwhile I just hold and add

seawallwalker - 01 Mar 2006 22:15 - 5560 of 7811

What's really good is to see some interesting posts on this board again.

It's like coming home.

Ray A - 01 Mar 2006 23:02 - 5561 of 7811

Thanks all for the feedback, I like the story and added some more SEY by ditching VOD - must be the better option!

Andy,

As a newcomer, do you mind spelling out "IMO" to stop me guessing? Excuse my ignorance!

KEAYDIAN - 01 Mar 2006 23:04 - 5562 of 7811

RayA

"imo" = "in my opinion".

KD

KEAYDIAN - 01 Mar 2006 23:06 - 5563 of 7811

IMHO = In my humle opinion.

KD

Ps I think.

stockdog - 02 Mar 2006 09:33 - 5564 of 7811

SWW - totally agree, now we got rid of that dreadful Poo Bear what a w****r he was!

sd

seawallwalker - 02 Mar 2006 10:37 - 5565 of 7811

Ho ho ho.........

Andy - 02 Mar 2006 10:45 - 5566 of 7811

RAy A,

Sorry I tend to use IMO to emphasise that it is just that, my opinion.

Otherwise, some posters can think you are stating fact, or worse, lecturing them, both of which can result in hostility on the thread!

IMHO as previously stated can mean either 'in my honest opinion', or 'in my humble opinion'.

Ray A - 02 Mar 2006 16:57 - 5567 of 7811

Thanks Andy and everyone, I am now well educated IMHO!

Andy - 02 Mar 2006 17:34 - 5568 of 7811
