NIGHTHAWK 6 BAGGER ON DEBUT. (HAWK)

oilyrag - 12 Mar 2007 07:10

Pre IPO price 4p
Opening price on debut 25p
Floatation price 46p to raise 14million to extend Jolly Ranch
Current fair value estimate 114p
Market cap 70.59 million.
Value of Cisco Springs investments 98 million.
Value of Vogel investments 75 million.
Desparado trucking now Nightfox 250,000 for a 50% stake with partner Running Foxes.
Centurion Project Kansas, 150,000 for a 50% stake.
Jolly Ranch Colorado, 40,000 acres cost 356,000 for a 50% stake.
Cash in bank 7.75 million.

As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

Big 4 wheel drives will be out again....there has been a lot less on the roads as of late....must be in the garages waiting for the oil price drop !.

I find this conversation quite staggering.

If we have reached the bottom then you may well be right, but why take the chance of catching the falling knife?

If the market continues to drop then the MM's will continue to walk the price down. Could easily be 10p in a few weeks so why not wait til better times. Anybody who buys AIM stocks at the moment must have money to burn IMO

Somewhere or sometime there will be a very serious rebound....those like myself who cannot possibly watch share prices all the time will miss out....so an answer is to try and bottom fish....won't get the very bottom but if you are looking for value HAWK could be the holy grail for the amateur like myself....I agree perhaps waiting is another way but this company has had it's sp slashed by 4/5ths in a very short space of time on good news updates.

gibby - 24 Oct 2008 12:41 - 568 of 1373

i have rejoined after my last sell off today at just below 21p & just over 21p - i am in for the very bumpy ride i am sure is ahead - i dont care if this drops to 10p (which i very much doubt) i am not selling - his already has been one of my best ever shares - imo this time round will be even better - i see opec has slashed production today also to prop up oil price - good

required field - 24 Oct 2008 12:52 - 569 of 1373

Bought some more at below 20p....!!! yes below 20p.....come on HAWK...give us a bullish update now !.

I feel like a heron coupled with a pelican and a kingfisher here, rolled into one !.

dealerdear - 24 Oct 2008 13:00 - 571 of 1373

rf I don't mean to be disrepectful but are you starting to lose it?

Take a look at an excellent article today from the Friday traders thread from Guardian.co.uk about the psychology of traders and fear.

Apparently under stress, we are all becoming loners, drinking and drug taking with masterbation as the main interest!

I'm not of course inferring that this is what you do (lol) but it is a fascinating article that did at least put a smile on my face which is more than my shares tend to these days!

gibby - 24 Oct 2008 13:01 - 572 of 1373

ditto required!

justyi - 24 Oct 2008 13:46 - 573 of 1373

Just trying to pick up some stocks at bottom prices ....never read the Guardian in my life .....is that some obscure leftie newspaper ?....prefer the Telegraph myself....are you talking about yourself ?.....you need some help !, it just shows what rubbish gets published nowadays.....shares is a big hobby for me not just trying to make money !, but you are right about the dangers of buying back in with these drops...risky...longterm should come right !.

gibby - 24 Oct 2008 14:27 - 575 of 1373

imo long term these will come good - picked up some other bargains - depends how bad the recession bites - but the truth is the country (uk) is actually bankrupt and been in recession for sometime - the only reason uk kept going is because those idiots at labour keep borrowing more and more money digging huge hole for everyone - then labour policies are so bad some of the damage can not be reversed - eg immigration, no prison space left, police snowed under with paper work & too scared to do anything because of human rights, hospitals with more admin than nurses, road tolls imminent, creeping stealth taxes, etc etc etc - what chaos! then that idiot gordon brown keep moving his fiscal rules so when he breaches them makes up new ones to make it look like he hasnt - what an arrogant false smiling person he is! apart from that we are doing ok (hang on just sectioned myself!)!!!

gibby - 24 Oct 2008 14:28 - 576 of 1373

then the blasted eu!!

required field - 24 Oct 2008 14:31 - 577 of 1373

Agreed Gibby...it's becoming impossible to live a normal life in the UK !.

geordieguy - 24 Oct 2008 19:21 - 578 of 1373
