Views on AMINEX's potential??? (AEX)

slmchow - 17 Feb 2004 12:50

From the latest company's drilling update....17 Feb

http://moneyam.uk-wire.com/cgi-bin/articles/200402170700084897V.html

Can anyone with mining knowledge explain these terms....

What does sidetracking mean? Approx how ong will that take?
Approx. how long will it take to correct a deviated section?
Is 'crude oil in shale samples' a good indication that there is oil?
Is 'Gas-bearing porous sands being logged' a good indication that there is gas?
Basically what does logging involve ?

Any views re AEX potential??

Regards
Stephen

The last time I wrote here was in August and said that a friend of my husband who works in the city recommended that we buy some shares in this company, according to him it was going to double in few weeks. On his recommendation we bought some and it did what he stated. Infect it has more than tripled since than. He visited us during Christmas day and told us to buy some more and not to sell them what ever happens to the share price. He mention about some deals being made in Korea and further news will be coming out soon. We increased our holdings yesterday. I can see why our friend told us to buy as soon as the market opened on Wednesday; there has been heavy buying since yesterday. He expect the shares to go up 40/45p short term

I too have held since early August and now we're breaking 30p, think we'll see a rapid move to 35/40p. I have considered taking another tranche but am already heavily overweight. As mentioned by kaysmart before Xmas it already has a mention on smallcaptrader, target 1. Which paper is going to pick this one up in the next 7 days???

lanayel - 29 Dec 2005 15:14 - 562 of 645

Wow !!! (seems to be the only word I can start my messages with at present).

Great to see the share price breaking through the 30p barrier today.

I believe most of the Sunday newspapers will have their 2006 tips in the 1st January issue.

So I'm now contemplating whether to pick up some more shares today or tomorrow morning as any tip at the weekend will result in a ridiculous mark up when business resumes on Tuesday morning.

Absolutely Ianayel - there could be a lot of reading to plough through on 1st Jan with a hangover! But it will keep the mind occupied. I'm considering putting more away under the ISA if this 30p holds, however it goes against my investment strategy to be so overexposed.

kaysmart - 29 Dec 2005 15:45 - 564 of 645

Hi Greyhound, Just to add you are not alone in being overexposed. I am heavily overweight too. My target is to hold at least 500,000 in my portfolio; I have not reached that yet. I have been regularly buying every time it dips. But yesterday I had to go against my strategy and bought two lots as it was going up. With the tips for 2006 shares of the year coming out next week and heavy buying this week I am quite confident it will be picked up by tipsters as share of the year for 2006.

lanayel - 29 Dec 2005 15:51 - 565 of 645

I couldn't wait any longer.............
just bought a few more at 30.5p

Good luck to all.

Happy New Year

A fantastic article was posted this evening on a couple of other BB's:

http://ogj.pennnet.com/articles/article_display.cfm?Section=ARCHI&C=Depa&ARTICLE_ID=241784&KEYWORDS=aminex

It gives a very thorough picture of the background work Aminex have done with the North Koreans over the last few years and, indeed, why the Koreans are happy dealing with Aminex rather than a larger, or better known, company.

It gives a wonderful idea of the fantastic potential for Aminex.

Oracles - 01 Jan 2006 13:22 - 567 of 645

Have we been tipped for 2006 then?

Mad Pad - 01 Jan 2006 13:30 - 568 of 645

Havnt read anything yet.

SEOUL, Jan. 2 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's diplomacy in the coming year will be focused on resolving the North Korean nuclear crisis, Seoul's foreign minister said Monday.

Very quite on here today given this mornings rise.

lanayel - 03 Jan 2006 14:57 - 572 of 645

a big sale of 672000 shares has finally been serviced.
I think it is now time for Aminex to break previous trading ranges and move on towards 35p

:0)

Greyhound - 03 Jan 2006 15:30 - 573 of 645

Buys coming in now, taking this into new territory.

dharrisp - 03 Jan 2006 15:36 - 574 of 645

lanayel

Do you think it was a sale. I would have said a buy. WINS have been looking for stock all day and it looks like the publication was the closing off a deal they have been working. Given that WINS are still on the bid, I would say that they are still looking for stock.

lanayel - 03 Jan 2006 15:46 - 575 of 645

I was speculating on exactly the same theory - Winterfloods had indeed been 0.5p bid above the rest most of the afternoon and still are (as you state).
I thought that perhaps they had 'persuaded' someone to sell the 672k to them as they continue to pick up stock for their client.
(ps it's not you is it ?)

Greyhound - 03 Jan 2006 16:04 - 576 of 645

Not that I follow this, but Robbie Burns (thenakedtrader) back in up to 40p. No doubt has a few "followers"!

dharrisp - 03 Jan 2006 18:03 - 577 of 645

Not us lanayel. Not at this price and not for a long while bearing in mind our target.

U.S. Ready To Resume Six-Party talks

http://www.truthnews.net/month/2006010020.htm

Washington -- The United States is ready to return to the Six-Party Talks, but without new conditions, says Alexander Vershbow, the U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Korea.

Speaking January 4 to the Korean-American Association in Seoul, Vershbow said the United States is hopeful that the talks involving North and South Korea, Japan, China, Russia and the United States will resume soon.

"The United States is ready to return to the table without attaching any new conditions, and we expect North Korea to do the same," he said.

North Korea agreed to proceed with abandoning its nuclear weapons programs in an agreement signed September 19 and participated in talks in November 2005 aimed at implementing the pact.
