Morning all
terrible scenes in london this morning, my wifes best friend was caught in tavistock sq when the explosion on the bus went off - shes cut and in shock but ok
sounds like a co-ordianated terrorist attack - hopefully no one here or anyone they know has been caught up in this

Thankfully anyone in the family who has to travel up into the centre from
time to time as far as I know have not had to do so today - agree with you
Fundy, it's organised, co-ordinated - if it was the 70's/80's I'd immediately
think of the IRA but these days terrorists aren't necessarily so close to home.
Pot of tea I think and a danish.

If the FTSE is anything to go by this is far from over its now heading back down. For my part I am glad I am not in London today but for anyone that it take care and stay safe.
The scum that do this sort of thing deserve no mercy.

Roast beef or chicken, yorkshires, roast tatties, veggies etc
followed by a chocolate sponge pud with custard this lunch time
because I think everyone could do with some comfort food with all the
horrible news this morning.
(Haddock fish fingers also available and salmon fillets)

Afternoon all. What a sad day.
Just hoping everyone is OK - Spacie,
good to know you were not in the city.

Youngest son home early - they sent those who could walk home, others
still there until transport and parents are known to be OK. Two girls in his class
are in a state as their Dads were travelling and their Mums can't contact them
so no idea how they are.
Just last week (thursday and friday) his class were in central London visiting
museums and HMS Belfast - thinking ourselves lucky.

Yes please opto!
Bunny, good you son home at least. The others
must be worried sick.
The pattern you point out is exactly sort of
thing Tom H talking about when he warned
week of 2nd July indicated there would he a
dramatic movement in market. Odd, isn't it?

Thought opto was making up for his anti-female
comments but looks like you could die of thirst waiting
for the cup of tea!!!
