Yes it does read well. Definately worth a read. The link isn't directly accessible above. Thought it was just me who was having problems posting a link! I won't attempt to post it on here after yesterday's attempt. The NANO chart still looks good to me looking at the one posted above.

goldfinger - 23 Mar 2013 14:38 - 59 of 2763

To post a live link UPCH4RT, just Place your link in the box that pops up on the 4th icon above ie after the U.This is when you have pressed to open a post.

Make sure you delete the html code in the box first or it will cock the link up.

given Cyprus deal may be worked tomorrow good chance it bounces back strongly ..... but i suspect that any general bounce will be but sharp and short ....... the eurozone problems remain unresolved, and for all the huffing and puffing, the eurozone economies make uk look like "boom time", with the exception of germany that claims to be ticking ahead, but then its cattle (and france's) did not suffer a single case of BSE did it!

goldfinger - 23 Mar 2013 14:53 - 61 of 2763

£750 billion cash in corporate Britain Balance Sheets cyners. That equals a lot of M@T activity. Should keep us going for a bit.

UPCH4RT - 23 Mar 2013 14:59 - 62 of 2763

Ok cheers for that GF. Think I managed to get my head around finally yesterday.

No matter what the economic climate is, there will always be stocks that will perform. It's just finding them thats hard! Obviously a rosy economy and positive growth forecast is always a help!

Stock picking will be key in the coming months. Always tends to be more difficult as we move in to April, May etc.

It's nicer with a pertinent text. Winking-Smiley.jpg&w=35pxGood news Britain: high technology manufacturers make great profits

cynic - 23 Mar 2013 15:40 - 64 of 2763

if you want high tech, then why not go for quality as below? .... the current dip, apart from general market malaise, is solely (i think) because the current CEO is stepping down

skinny - 23 Mar 2013 15:53 - 65 of 2763

Cloud anyone?

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=TCY&Si

UPCH4RT - 23 Mar 2013 15:57 - 66 of 2763

ARM is an amazing growth stock. I recall first trading it around the dot com boom at about 40 or 50p I think.

I mentioned ASOS in my recent blog. That's another amazing growth story. If I recall correctly it was around 4p in 2003! Today it's near the 3300p mark. That's incredible! The full details are posted on my blog if you want the exact figures.

These are the gems we need to be looking out for! Maybe it's already out there! Could it be NANO even?! I'll tell you in ten years time! As with both of these stocks, they don't just go up in a straight line. Long term they come good!

cynic - 23 Mar 2013 16:00 - 67 of 2763

i really can't get my head around ASOS ..... i have long thought the sp ludicrously overvalued, but the market doesn't agree - yet :-)

dreamcatcher - 23 Mar 2013 16:04 - 68 of 2763

This share for me is going to be hard to match a find in the future.

UPCH4RT - 23 Mar 2013 16:08 - 69 of 2763

That's the thing with these sort of stocks. You always think that you have missed the boat on them, yet they continue rising month on month, year on year! Sometimes you just have to trust your instinct! Not very technical I know!

DLC chart is one that just keeps going up and up in a kind of stairways pattern. Just when you think it's too late to get in, it jumps up again. Those sort of stocks you just buy and sit back on. That's another amazing performer!

cynic - 23 Mar 2013 16:13 - 70 of 2763

lol! my instinct would have been to short the bloody thing (ASC), but fortunately i did not :-)

goldfinger - 23 Mar 2013 23:27 - 71 of 2763

UPCHART............cyners knows his stuff. Hes no mug. But T-at at times hes silly.

ex public school boy mamby tanby type, used to be a fag for the older boys. Great at making toast. LOL pulling your leg cyners as u know.

UPCH4RT - 24 Mar 2013 09:29 - 72 of 2763

I'm sure cyners does know his stuff. Not disputing that at all! I'm here to share ideas and views and learn new things. Always keen to learn new things. All ideas and opinions most grateful. Thanks.

goldfinger - 24 Mar 2013 14:39 - 73 of 2763

Cyners..... ARM yes brilliant stock and good management.Even tho they have lost the top nob.

goldfinger - 24 Mar 2013 14:45 - 74 of 2763

Has this Cyprus deal been done. Just back in after 10 hours fishing mostly in the dark and snow. Caught a big trout poor thing must have been starving.

Returned it, but must admit I love toasted trout.

goldfinger - 24 Mar 2013 14:51 - 75 of 2763

Got a screener and some chart patterns to post that look pretty hot.

Shitty weekend TV.

Just going down pub with the cats.

Laters.

cynic - 24 Mar 2013 15:43 - 76 of 2763

i'm so dense, i was totally unaware that U was having a pop at me .... what did you catch the trout on? A dynamite fly? Surprised anything at all was feeding in this cold; as you'll know, fish tend to sit and sulk when it's like this

Cyprus
if the deal isn't done, assuredly it will be, but i'll say again that though there'll almost certainly be a positive knee-jerk reaction, i think it'll be short-lived, not least because dow is looking singularly top-heavy, and where dow goes, so london follows - bit like bush and blair!

halifax - 24 Mar 2013 17:30 - 77 of 2763

cynic if the deal is done the game is not over, too many angry cypriots.
