THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

kimoldfield - 22 Mar 2007 01:14 - 5848 of 81564

That's a nice sight to come home to after a hard night out!

greekman - 22 Mar 2007 07:26 - 5849 of 81564

Hell, just got out of a cold shower, have to get back in again.
Very tasteful, very gorgeous.
Sorry to go SEO again but if I do make lots of cash, I wonder if I could tempt her into my Aston Martin Vanquish.

hewittalan6 - 22 Mar 2007 07:38 - 5850 of 81564

The results lead me to believe an Aston Martin Vanished is more likely.
A holding several gazillion shares may get you the new road tax though.

Alan,

Just got out of that cold shower again, and it wasn't just my dream of the Aston that had vanished (better not go there on a family thread).
Now picturing her on the crossbar of my bike, dressed in Kevlar (now you are worried). Probably leaving myself open to more jovial comebacks.

hewittalan6 - 22 Mar 2007 08:26 - 5852 of 81564

She wouldn't need kevlar for me.
I fire blanks since the wife had me to the vet.

greekman - 22 Mar 2007 08:32 - 5853 of 81564

Your lucky. My wife decided to save us money. Bottle of whiskey and two bricks.
It doesn't hurt as long as you keep your thumbs out of the way. The old favorites are still the best.

hewittalan6 - 22 Mar 2007 08:40 - 5854 of 81564

My missus sent me to the DSS to claim the old age pension. I had to show then the grey hairs on my chest to prove how old I was. She said, "show 'em your wedding tackle as well and we'll get disabilty".

greekman - 22 Mar 2007 08:52 - 5855 of 81564

Going to lay down now, can't compete.

kimoldfield - 22 Mar 2007 09:44 - 5856 of 81564

I'm lying down already: I said previously that I would only drink orange juice from now on when on a night out...............so, who spiked my drinks???

bosley - 22 Mar 2007 10:03 - 5857 of 81564

oh it's good to be back at work. got a major sick-fest going on at home with my girlfriend and my daughter taking turns to see who could throw-up the most !! been feeling like a bloody chambermaid the amount of times i've had to change the bedding !!

soul traders - 22 Mar 2007 11:27 - 5858 of 81564

Bos, put one in the bath and one in the shower and spray down as necessary.

bosley - 22 Mar 2007 23:34 - 5859 of 81564

if we only we could all be as good as this :S

bosley - 22 Mar 2007 23:35 - 5860 of 81564

no pic tonight, jimmy ? apparantly kim had a "hard night" after seeing the last one ;)

jimmy b - 23 Mar 2007 08:45 - 5861 of 81564

Read that bos ,nice guy ,,however i wonder what the shares were ? .

Bluelady - 23 Mar 2007 11:06 - 5862 of 81564

Hi jimmy,

Mr Parr accrued the fortune through a 5,000 investment in East Surrey Water Company shares more than 20 years ago.

Great find bosley. In twenty years' time perhaps our shares might make that sort of profit!!!

jimmy b - 23 Mar 2007 11:28 - 5863 of 81564

Thanks for that Bluelady ,i'm not sure i have that much patience though :-) .

bosley - 23 Mar 2007 11:31 - 5864 of 81564

jimmy, you might when you're knocking 80 though. he was 101 when he died.

Bluelady - 23 Mar 2007 11:48 - 5865 of 81564

No problem jimmy.

Bosley, I bet he was only buying them for the dividend, lol.

jimmy b - 23 Mar 2007 11:56 - 5866 of 81564

Bos if i ever make 80 i'll be happy to sit in a care home dribbling over the cleavage of the young nurse who just brought me my cup of tea that i spill down my front.
