THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Same happened to me Al ,PS2 ,bought it for my son once and ended up mastering Colin Mcrae Rally ,took 6 months mind ,,then i found that when i was a little drunk my sector times went down so i bought an SAS game where you infiltrate the Iraq desert and blow things up ,now to get through that to the last stage took another 6 months, then it broke , still my son got good marks at school that year. Good luck .

I'm knackered Jimmy.
This thing is all about holding the controller and instead of pushing buttons, actually moving as you want the character to move.
Golf is superb fun and has improved my swing tremendously but the boxing has really taken it out of me.
Don't even ask about the tennis.

hewittalan6 - 16 Apr 2007 15:54 - 5902 of 81564

Its a very physical game, jimmy, twisting the remote this way and that.
I got some really funny looks at work today as I sat rubbing my wrist and complaining of the soreness.
It got even worse when I explained I'd been playing with myself all night.
When people laughed at me I tried to explain further that I had been playing with my Wii cos the wife had gone out and left me in alone, and that I thought it may even have affected my eyesight.
Now everyone is just pointing and shaking their heads.

bosley - 17 Apr 2007 10:50 - 5903 of 81564

jimmy, i cant believe you're not leading this month with a gain like that !!

jimmy b - 17 Apr 2007 11:49 - 5904 of 81564

I was leading the monthly one bos (by accident) i stopped playing because i just don't have the time right now and then a short that had gone the wrong way went the right way and i was at the top ,then this fellow knocked me off with a 200% gain ,i'm not quite sure how it works ,he's on - 15 k.

jimmy b - 17 Apr 2007 12:45 - 5905 of 81564

I'm back on top my short paid off ,i don't know what happened to the other guy,he vanished .

bosley - 17 Apr 2007 17:11 - 5906 of 81564

jimmy b - 17 Apr 2007 21:33 - 5907 of 81564

PINK CURTAINS

A blonde woman goes into a department store and tells the salesman she wants a pair of pink curtains.

He assures her they have a good selection of pink curtains.

He shows her many kinds an different fabrics of curtains she finally picks out a pink floral pattern.

The salesman asks, "What size do you need?"

She says, "15 inches."

He exclaims, "15 INCHES!.......What kind of room are they for?"

She says, "It's not for a room, it's for my computer monitor."

The surprised salesman exclaims, "Miss, computers do not need curtains."

The blonde says.............(wait for it)
