Earthport: Ready to fly (EPO)

jdubb - 04 Mar 2004 17:44

Some good news at last from this weeks Shares mag. Tim Freeborn revisits the company and altho no firm details are given about new deals he says they will be announced this quarter. I would think that this could be at the same time as the interim results are announced. I for one will be holding on cos they will fly sooner rather than later! ( 8.30% up today!)

Just when I thought I was starting to understand the market, things go the opposite way.

I thought EPO's results were reasonable, especially their business plan and therefore potential, but, the release of so many shares (dilution??) to the market is not so good.

Is this just a minor blip or what. I don't suppose Tim Freeborn is too impressed either. He was led to believe that good things were just around the corner, ie, soon. How soon is soon? I don't know what to think right now!

Any comments anyone?

Cheers.

The MM's have had a good day! On closer inspection you will find that a great deal of the "sells" are delayed from earlier when the price was lower, so they are in fact buys. The MM's will do anything to panic you and get your shares on the cheap! - even disguising buys as sells!

jdubb - 31 Mar 2004 17:07 - 61 of 706

H

Just over 8mil shares isnt alot compared to the 537mil existing ones. As i said in last post the MM's are just playing with us. It happened to Lupus Capital and Chelford Group too- good results- shares hammered- next day or day after- price goes up 10%- watch and see!

I like you ssanebs. You always have a little bit of cheer for us !

Sharemess.

Great name. Describes my share state at the moment accurately!
Does ssanebs know something special. I'm looking forward to tomorrow now. These shares should be going ballistic, at least gaining altitude.

bosley - 01 Apr 2004 18:03 - 66 of 706

over 8 million sells today . nobody curious as to why???????

Sharemess - 01 Apr 2004 22:16 - 67 of 706

Maybee all the punters who bought in on the back of the shares Magazine article a few weeks ago, and were looking for a quick profit, have triggered their "stop loss" and sold fast.

ssanebs - 01 Apr 2004 23:16 - 68 of 706

i think the sellers thought there would not be a us deal signed for some time. it will be announced tomorrow.

Sharemess - 02 Apr 2004 08:52 - 69 of 706

Gambling or banking ?

bosley - 02 Apr 2004 11:43 - 70 of 706

ssanebs - 02 Apr 2004 12:03 - 71 of 706

i assume as it a us deal we will have to wait for wall st

windys160 - 02 Apr 2004 14:53 - 72 of 706

what affect will the announcement make as the price is still falling, will it slowly rise over the coming months or will it jump up like idn has starting doing?

windys160 - 02 Apr 2004 15:27 - 73 of 706

could we see them reach 4 or 5p with this deal?

bosley - 02 Apr 2004 16:04 - 74 of 706

bosley - 02 Apr 2004 17:36 - 76 of 706

i really dont know what to say

MrDavis - 02 Apr 2004 19:18 - 77 of 706

MONDAY THEN SSANEBS???????

ssanebs - 02 Apr 2004 21:15 - 78 of 706

i cant believe why they could not announce it if it was signed. when i asked to speak to rob cunningham he said he had just left. i think they should stop leaking news full stop as they never meet their own times
