jamel06,

This is a long running thread wth good discussion, and you're labelling posters here as 'rampers' is offensive and without foundation.

When challenged, you cannot produce a single ramp.

if you want to discuss sterling fine, otherwise leave the adults alone and b*gger off back to the lSE where clearly such behaviour must be the order of the day.

Cool down guys ...... handbags not required at dawn or any other time ... lol!

jameel06 - 14 May 2006 15:19 - 5912 of 7811

Oh, abit of excitement creepingin . Share trader and Adam, it seems you both have had a bad day its either the other half or sp performance last week? Which one? Now be honest?

optomistic - 14 May 2006 15:29 - 5913 of 7811

jameel, after post 5912 I am convinced you would be much happier at the LSE.

cynic - 14 May 2006 16:43 - 5914 of 7811

Jameel ... you are heading for a smacked bottom (lol), so just behave yourself

Andy - 14 May 2006 17:43 - 5915 of 7811

cynic,

"Cynic would not have bought SEY a couple of years ago!"

I can understand why, and I have changed my strategy to buying either producers with exploration potential, or near producers, preferably with same.

Two years ago SEy were a producer, and Chinguetti was a long way off over the horizon. It could be argued that I could hve invested elsewhere whilst SEY moved up and down within the 12p - 20p trading range.

The reason I stayed with SEY is my belief in their management quality, and the tax advantage BATR brings after two years of holding an AIM stock.

The reason I like Concorde, is for the same reasons, and they will become a producer, albeit in a small way, as soon as the Pechora Energy purchase is complete.

As my junior companies become larger, I have to plant a few seeds, and CDE is my next one, I see it as SEY four years ago, but I have a feeling they will grow quicker.

Pond Life - 14 May 2006 19:17 - 5916 of 7811

SEY 1 by Christmas. How's that for a ramp? What a load of old tosh jameel, ease up. Where's deadfred when you need him? He'll sort you out.

Andy,
If you are into tiddlers with potential and you don't mind having a go at Ofex stocks, take a look at HEP. I bought in a few at 7p, and they are now 13p if you want any. EPG their larger Australian partner will list on Aim this year. Their price now, is such that HEP could almost treble and not look expensive in comparison.

Andy - 14 May 2006 20:06 - 5917 of 7811

Pond Life,

thanks, I will do.

Funny you should say that, I was at Oilbarrel last week, and EPG presented!

I agree, that the CBM project in france looks good

jameel06 - 14 May 2006 21:09 - 5918 of 7811

pond life, thanks i will look into epg and hep!

Cynic, I would luv to volunteer for the bum smacking. a bit hard to start off with and then by all means gentle ones to finish would do me just fine..lol

cynic - 14 May 2006 22:01 - 5919 of 7811

I fear you ain't pretty enough for my attentions Jameel.

jameel06 - 14 May 2006 22:10 - 5920 of 7811

dont worry I dont swing both ways yet! Although if u tempt me I might..lol

daves dazzlers - 15 May 2006 08:44 - 5921 of 7811

ouch.

ahoj - 15 May 2006 09:10 - 5922 of 7811

From 33 to 25 in two days! and oil price around its highest levels ever.
Less than 5M traded and 16% down.

jameel06 - 15 May 2006 09:29 - 5923 of 7811

whats gone on here? Seems illogical

R88AVE - 15 May 2006 09:42 - 5924 of 7811

Its shocking how it can behave like this, I think the investors just panicked big time, with all the hype on what the market is going to do forgetting about everything else, like you said the oil price is still high, so SEY will still generate masses of cash. I have searched everywhere on net to see whats behind it and there is nothing for explaination. I am tempted to get some more, its too cheap!!

jameel06 - 15 May 2006 10:51 - 5925 of 7811

rR88VE

jameel06 - 15 May 2006 10:52 - 5926 of 7811

r88ve. just got in under 29p! Good buy will sit on this. andy thanks for views yesterday

stockdog - 15 May 2006 10:52 - 5927 of 7811

The whole market's down again today, and the MMs have marked everything down as a protection. So I expect a lot of stop losses have been hit causing a self-fulfiling reaction to the mark down. Nothing to be done now except sit tight. As to buying more - you'd be a brave man whilst the whole market is looking dodgy!

R88AVE - 15 May 2006 11:01 - 5928 of 7811

Jameel06
I got in at 27.5p, damn should have the guts to buy at 25p!

Stockdog I cant see this shares going lower than pre April price when it was around 22p or something...thats way too cheap IMO.

jameel06 - 15 May 2006 11:17 - 5929 of 7811

R88ve, I couldnt sell eo. in time to get in! capital locked in every where! But I changed strategy and made loss one one to get in cheap on this mother! I hope it does well or else my wife will have me OUT!
