Will only rise from here - Farsight (FAR)

Happy1 - 27 Jul 2004 21:29

draw_chart.php?epic=far&type=1&size=1&pe

Sitting at a one year low this microcap has potentially a great deal of upside according to the last figures (see AFX below)

Farsight PLC posted narrower first half losses and said it
has a strong order book for the remainder of the financial year.
For the six months to end November, the video surveillance company posted a
loss of 501,000 stg against a loss of 978,000 a year earlier on sales of 431,000
stg compared to 597,000.
It also said the first stage of a contract with Johnson Workplace Management
has been commissioned following a three month planning and mobilisation period.
Basepoint said the potential value of this contract is a minimum of 250,000
stg over the next two years in terms of consultancy and remote video monitoring.
Sales revenues from remote video monitoring operations continue to grow, the
company said.
"New client monitoring contracts are growing by between 15,000-35,000 stg
per month," it said.
It added that it has raised 750,000 stg via a secured convertible loan
facility. This will enable the company to repay its legacy debts and "provide
sufficient working capital for the company's present requirements".
It said 2004 will see a positive cash flow from operations, and a continued
improvement in trading performance.

This was taken from the last set of figures received which means that forward looking they had some strong orders.

Up again. Another Knowing winner by the looks of it.

Ted1 - 05 Aug 2004 15:14 - 10 of 36

Guys
Just got some TA from a well respected poster. I hold a position in this stock.

Ted,

FAR...finally!

(Sorry guys, off topic.)

The most significant feature is the one day fall on 27/7. There was a large opening gap down, with the day starting precisely on the lower line of the year long descending channel.

The good news is the low of that day, at .73p, is way below the eventual close at .95p, forming a long wick, or shadow, on the Candlestick chart.

The next day was steady at 1p.

Was this a dead cat bounce. I don't think so. Although volumes are low I'd have expected the fall back below 1p to have happened by now...so there is some support there at the key 1p level. And the long wick may be evidence of further underlying support...I presume buyers came in strongly? (I have no fundamental knowledge of this share.)

Should 1p fail then I'm afraid .5p is on the cards.

I hope this helps

Happy1 - 05 Aug 2004 21:32 - 11 of 36

Looks good Ted. Seems that we only have buyers and very few selling at this low price as everyone bought higher.

Ted1 - 09 Aug 2004 14:42 - 22 of 36

A nice 250k buy. Maybe all the earlier trades weren't sells. The spread was up to 21% earlier
Anybody know?

Ted1 - 10 Aug 2004 13:09 - 23 of 36

A little TA guys, looking good again today only 2 sells, I think buys with the tick up but difficult to tell especially after yesterday. They were all buys yesterday.

Ted,

Just checked on FAR...looking good.

An open on the 21 day MA saw the price gap upwards yesterday.

Above average volume helped to a close back in the middle of the downtrend channel and above the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level.

Ted1 - 11 Aug 2004 14:48 - 24 of 36
