Thanks for a great week's entertainment. :-)

jeffmack - 22 Jul 2005 20:43 - 6039 of 24230

Well I'm glad that week is over. Got some nice business trips lined up this year, first class travel and top hotels, lovely. Going to NY for two weeks in August then Washington and Miami in November.

optomistic - 22 Jul 2005 20:44 - 6040 of 24230

Did you say you still worked for a living Jeff :-))

daves dazzlers - 22 Jul 2005 22:19 - 6041 of 24230

Lucky sod or what, quick tea and off to read my tohatsu manual, sounds a riveting read not.

MightyMicro - 23 Jul 2005 00:51 - 6042 of 24230

Nice to see you all again, but the blow-up doll appears to have a puncture and gone a bit floppy -- or is it my age. I shall retire to the hammock room and trust that Choccie will give me a swing while I down a bijou glassette of the Mumm Napa (the Blanc de Noirs, I think).

I hope you all have a peaceful weekend.

daves dazzlers - 23 Jul 2005 07:43 - 6043 of 24230

Like wise micro but i doubt it with kids, better get the water boiler on & the green tea out.

Socrates - 23 Jul 2005 08:59 - 6044 of 24230

Good morning campers, it is making a poor attempt at raining here in Cheltenham. Could try harder.

jj50 - 23 Jul 2005 09:32 - 6045 of 24230

Morning DD and Socs. Bit duller here too but no sign of rain.
Have a good day all.

Socrates - 23 Jul 2005 11:14 - 6046 of 24230

Just popped in for elevenses and a couple of rich tea biscuits, nice.

optomistic - 23 Jul 2005 11:16 - 6047 of 24230

Morning Socs, do they have to be very rich. Not been too good a week this week.

optomistic - 23 Jul 2005 11:37 - 6048 of 24230

Obviously only the very rich, see what we can do Socs.

Socrates - 23 Jul 2005 11:48 - 6049 of 24230

Not so rich would do just as well Opto, otherwise I couldn't afford them. Swings and roundabouts for me this week, one or two of my dogs have improved a bit.

optomistic - 23 Jul 2005 12:02 - 6050 of 24230

It's the dogs that sploil the fun! BTW how are you doing with the mouse batteries?
I bought some Uniross 2000 m/amp rechargeables and tomorrow they have been in two weeks. The 1300 m/amp were lasting 3 days. Let you know when these are ready for recharging.

Socrates - 23 Jul 2005 12:25 - 6051 of 24230

Opto
I am usimg Duracell AAs, they last for weeks, normally about 4 weeks.

optomistic - 23 Jul 2005 12:33 - 6052 of 24230

I will be happy if these last 2/3 weeks then a recharge. Got them from Wilkinsons, they were 8.99 for four normal price but they had some offer packs 6 batteries for the price of four.

jeffmack - 23 Jul 2005 12:37 - 6053 of 24230
