Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 25 Jul 2005 16:51 - 6079 of 24230

Water off a ducks back folks, some you win some you lose. Still, as they say, it's not over until the fat lady sings.

Apart from that, good evening folks, great to be alive.

Spaceman - 25 Jul 2005 18:22 - 6080 of 24230

Evening all from sunny, well rainy, Leiden. Over her for a couple of days.

Right off to find a hammock somewhere.

Priscilla - 25 Jul 2005 18:36 - 6081 of 24230

Socksy: hopefully DYS's continued rise helped to numb the PTG pain a little bit.

Socrates - 25 Jul 2005 19:25 - 6082 of 24230

Priscilla
I made more on DYS rise today than I may have lost on PTG so I'm not broken hearted. I'm interested to see what transpires in the future with PTG, just the sort of antic for a bank to pull just before the results are due.

optomistic - 25 Jul 2005 19:36 - 6083 of 24230

Fresh sherry trifle in the fridge Socs, PTG, I pulled out at 60p+ and lost, you must have a nice holding in DYS to compensate. Wish I had known about DYS in the 'early days'. Any more in the pipeline likely to do the same?

Socrates - 25 Jul 2005 22:10 - 6084 of 24230

Opto
I'm looking out for one (or a dozen or so).

jeffmack - 25 Jul 2005 22:35 - 6085 of 24230

Get on the Euro lottery

chocolat - 25 Jul 2005 22:49 - 6086 of 24230

Did I miss a few swings in here over the weekend?

Socrates - 25 Jul 2005 23:03 - 6087 of 24230

I don't think so Choccy, it was deadly quiet. It was so lonely I went out for a drive.

chocolat - 25 Jul 2005 23:12 - 6088 of 24230

Did you take a hammock with you Socks?

Socrates - 26 Jul 2005 00:02 - 6089 of 24230

Sorry Choccy, left the hammock here in case you popped in. Now I must pop up the stairs for some slumber, goodnight.

jj50 - 26 Jul 2005 08:23 - 6090 of 24230

Morning! Just heading out so opening the blinds,
throwing open the windows and putting on the music (loud,
for Socs, so it is not too quiet :-)). Trouble is, what sort of music
does Socs like - the Dambusters?!!

Kettle on and DYOB! Have a profitable day all.

optomistic - 26 Jul 2005 08:53 - 6091 of 24230

Morning jj, DYOB indeed! you know how we fellas need pampering, can't even brew us a pot of tea :-(

stockbunny - 26 Jul 2005 11:02 - 6092 of 24230

That looks like a negative to me Opto! ;>)
OK tea's on, do'nuts, danish etc all arrived...

Don't stand or sit still for too long anyone, anything not moving is being
thrown in the washing machine this morning, good day for getting things
dried! :>)

optomistic - 26 Jul 2005 11:26 - 6093 of 24230

Moving about fast I am!!

stockbunny - 26 Jul 2005 11:46 - 6094 of 24230

That's a 40 deg wash item and a 1000 spin I think.......
;>)

optomistic - 26 Jul 2005 15:33 - 6095 of 24230

Oh heck I'm spun enough now, I'll just hang around a while to dry off. Any one here to make me a pot of tea, I'm a bit dizzy :-)

stockbunny - 26 Jul 2005 15:40 - 6096 of 24230

Possibly.....

;>)

I added two new items to my 'what you find in shirt pockets' list today
(no lie) one of those rubber thumble things using in the office and a loose
cigerette! New ones for me I must admit, found both before throwing into
machine thankfully - don't laugh I have missed Blue-Tak and washed it before!
LOL

optomistic - 26 Jul 2005 15:46 - 6097 of 24230

As long as they have taken the shirts off before washing nothing to worry about :-)

stockbunny - 26 Jul 2005 16:01 - 6098 of 24230

Just about I think is the best answer to that Opto - often
pulled off, buttons still done up and the whole thing inside out! LOL

Chocolate cake????
