Company Profile
The Oxus Group was established in 1996 and quoted on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in London in 2001.
Oxus Gold plc is a UK based international mining group with gold mining interests in Central Asia. Oxus is the joint owner (50/50) with the government of Uzbekistan of Amantaytau Goldfields (AGF) which is developing several mining operations in the Tien Shan gold belt near Zarafshan.
The first mine was constructed and commissioned by Oxus in January 2004 on time and within budget and commercial production began the following month. AGF has since produced more than 270,000 ounces of gold to the end of September 2005 and is now producing at the planned rate of 151,000 onces per annum.

I bought back into oxus on wednesday at 20.5p 10,000 shares. As maestro said the results are due to be released on friday. Might pay to top up if the price is still low on monday morning. Good luck all.

i'll say one thing for you JB, you don't lack courage .... i am staggered at the number of truly flakey companies you seem to pick and then throw slabs of dosh at them.
on 12/9 you wrote, "If oxus win the court order, i will buy my shares back" ...... why have you not followed your own advice, for unless i am very thick, the case has yet to be resolved, and surely the company is greatly reliant on winning.

cynic I have a good feeling that oxus is going to win the court case. I do not consider 10,000 shares at present as a big gamble. Some we win some we lose. So long as we have more winners than loses. It does not really matter. good luck cynic.

cynic..they are producing loads of gold at another site and another one to start early 2007...this is the most undervalued stock on the market..expect an oxus gold rush this week...don't get trampled

no i don't and certainly at present would not want to ..... however, am tempted to buy into gold futures as arguably due for a run

cynic obviously has no bottle...won't get very rich

bottle and rich have not much symbiosis .... perhaps you do not know the difference between bottle and pigheadedness or even stupidity, but keep investing in some of these "gems" and you may learn the hard way.
in fact, had i listened to my own advice, instead of showing bottle, aka greed + the other two mentioned above, then i would certainly be a lot weathier than i am now.
