LNG
though not really on subject, i thought the following might be of interest with regards to the almost exponential growth for the use of LNG as fuel.
for those not aware, LNG is a very clean fuel to burn, with its obvious benefits to the environment ..... as a result, many vessels (and some truck fleets) are now being built or converted to run on this stuff.
it is very interesting to see that EU is now taking a very strong stance on the sulphur emissions from vessels ..... this means that the vessel owners will have to fit very expensive sulphur scrubbers if they want to stay with current cheap fuel (LSFO), though there is also a more expensive version (MGO) which gives out lower sulphur emissions.
almost de facto, it means that more and more (applies to industry heavy users too) will look much more closely at the economics of switching to LNG
=========
on the downside, LNG is expensive to produce and also has to be transported and stored in very expensive cryogenic tanks (highly sophisticated vacuum flask for ease) ...... being predominantly methane, it is also highly flammable, which gives other potential problems for its usage

Gibby , true i had forgotten how much support she has down there with her neighbours, but doubt it come to blows. Trouble may brew if a big oil discovery is made , as the Argie's will be naturally Jealous big time mate.

Stock on Loan (eg short position) has increased rapidly on FOGL over May - which is not surprised given the share price fall - the stock has to come from somewhere to fill everyones buys (including mine of late).
A nice spike in the short position means they will be closing out before Stebbing results near - so at some point in the next 3 weeks there should be a strong rise upwards as the shorts close out.
