i would have thought first support in the event of a fall would be 124 where sp hits 200 dma

doodlebug4 - 11 Nov 2014 14:39 - 613 of 832

cynic, of course this board is primarily for the exchange of thoughts and ideas, but at least I try to be objective and honest when I post my thoughts and ideas and I try to do as much research as possible before I post my opinions.

cynic - 11 Nov 2014 14:48 - 614 of 832

my thoughts are also honest as are any trades that i say i have done
you are under no obligation at all to like what i write, let alone follow any idea i might put forward

i'm not sure that thoughts and conclusions can be objective, for fairly obvious reasons

Chris Carson - 11 Nov 2014 14:50 - 615 of 832

Aye, it's easy in hindsight to speculate on what may or may not happen when your on the sidelines :0)

doodlebug4 - 11 Nov 2014 14:58 - 616 of 832

I try to as objective as possible, if I base my judgements on emotion I tend to make bad decisions - which I have done in the past. It's one of the reasons that some people make poor traders/investors.

cynic - 11 Nov 2014 15:08 - 617 of 832

btw, i have opened a very small short at 130.75
if sp recovers to 134 today, i may well sell a few more

Talking of results some figures of guidance on what they have to beat tomorrow.

Last year at this stage.......

Profit/(loss) before tax +
13.8 2013/2012
(1.6)2012/2011
N/M
Profit/(loss) after tax +
13.6 2013/2012
(1.6) 2012/2011
N/M

So were looking to beat about £13.8 million before tax

13.6 million after tax.

I note concensus eps are for 7.06 for year ending 31 st March 2015 a P/E of 18.4

goldfinger - 11 Nov 2014 16:28 - 620 of 832

HSBC go for just over £6.4 million profit in year 2015.

As you can se it pays to be short over the long term rather than the short term.

Patience is required.

goldfinger - 11 Nov 2014 17:14 - 621 of 832

Talking of P/Es EZJ by contrast FLYBs main competitor for the year ending

30-Sep-15 4,830.64 629.34 125.70p P/E 12.3

where as FLYB if results go well are forecast to be on a P/E of 18.4.

Well I know which looks the better stock to me.

I hold EZJ.

jimmy b - 11 Nov 2014 17:23 - 622 of 832

I sold that trade too early as well GF , oh well as people say a profit is a profit .

goldfinger - 11 Nov 2014 17:30 - 623 of 832

Dont be too sure Jimmy, you never know what tomorrow brings. Nobody does yet.

Pity I wont be able to comment as Im going down south to an aunts funeral.

doodlebug4 - 11 Nov 2014 17:51 - 624 of 832

Why should anyone care whether or not if you post any comments on this thread tomorrow gf, your comments for the last four weeks or so since you totally lost the plot should more than suffice. Even a broken clock etc.------------------.

goldfinger - 11 Nov 2014 18:46 - 625 of 832

Ohhh shut up you silly little boy.

You some how think this is YOUR THREAD, it is not.

Its a free board as described by Mike Boydel CEO and chief administrator Ian.

If you want to dispute that, take your argument up with them.

goldfinger - 11 Nov 2014 19:02 - 626 of 832

from across the road.

Interesting to note Chris Oil on Shareprophets states this........

"I reckon the £20 million current year pre-tax profits forecast now looks conservative."

So if we go on historical results the first half due to be reported tomorrow hes looking for at least a £17 million pre tax figure.

hxxp://www.shareprophets.com/views/8636/flybe-group-on-the-upward-trend-again

Further to my last Flybe (FLYB) article the most recent update underpins the buy case with new routes announced which should underpin broker forecasts of a £50 million pre-tax profit for the year to March 2016.

What the general markets seem not to have picked up on is how the significant drop in oil prices over the past few weeks will boost the bottom. Flybe has 40% fuel unhedged and I am sure it will be looking at locking in more hedges at this low price.

Coming back to the latest RNS CEO Hammad (ex Easyjet) states "our new London city routes provide direct links for customers in the regions to the heart of London’s financial district".

Routes opened up to London include Exeter, Edinburgh, Dublin, Belfast, Aberdeen and Inverness.

I have been buying on the lows which presented themselves as the interims are on the 12th November which will show a company trading profitably – I reckon the £20 million current year pre-tax profits forecast now looks conservative.

I also look forward to November 28th when Flybe hosts a Capital markets day for a full operational run down. The shares are a buy at 116p.

Until the next time more ramblings from the castle can be seen @chrisoil

That isn't what you said about the Talk to your self thread thread

You even said you had copyright , and then went crying to Ian to shut my one down.

aldwickk what dont you understand about being filtered.

aldwickk - 11 Nov 2014 19:17 - 629 of 832

That you can't read my post's , but you know the content of my post when you have me on filter

goldfinger - 11 Nov 2014 19:19 - 630 of 832

Ill give you a minute of my time.

Unfiltered.

I didnt say I had copyright I used the comparative of a window cleaner who as a local round where he has no law governing him but other people take it as gospel that its his round and show MANNERS not trying to take his business away.

I didnt ask him to shut yours down I asked him to point out B/Board etiquette and every day reasonable manners.

And anyway you went ahead with your copycat thread and it was a complete failure or have you forgotten that.

Back on filter.

aldwickk - 11 Nov 2014 19:41 - 631 of 832

You went to a lot of trouble about something that was a complete failure .
