Latest drilling from EME:

AIM quoted Empyrean Energy PLC today announces that operations are ongoing on
the El Viejito Prospect on Project Margarita, South Texas, USA.

Current well depth at 07.00 hours Australian WST, Tuesday 9 January 2007 El
Viejito #1 is 1,129 metres.

Basal Frio and Vicksburgh targets are below 1,524 metres. It is expected that
once final depth of 1,920 metres is reached the hole will be logged and a
decision will be made to test target zones of interest and run 2 7/8' tubing as
the completion string.

Since the last report of 21 December 2005 there has been an extended Christmas
break and a crew changeover following the break. All programmed wells are being
drilled on a turnkey basis at a fixed price for the joint venture and any costs
over the fixed price due to drilling delays are to the contractor's account.
A further update will be made on completion of the well program.

The announcement below certainly says a lot about the company. EME just send out RNS without checking. And inaccuracies to phone numbers, I thought those are basics to running a company. I guess they don't communicate much with their Conduit PR or HB-corporate. Poor management.

Project Margarita, Gulf Coast Texas USA

This announcement amends the Drilling Update submitted to RNS on 10 January
2007 at 7.18am with RNS number 2694P. The need for amendment arose as the
original announcement contained inaccuracies as to phone numbers and the date of the last report.

Big Al - 11 Jan 2007 14:22 - 621 of 2087

Loitering on support at 48p mid. Wonder what would happen if you pushed it through.

;-0

hlyeo98 - 11 Jan 2007 14:30 - 622 of 2087

48p is too high for EME considering its poor management

cynic - 11 Jan 2007 14:59 - 623 of 2087

well you know my opinion of this stock! ..... do you really want a more readable chart then above? ..... easily posted

oilyrag - 24 Jan 2007 10:02 - 624 of 2087

All blue, whats the news as I can't find any?

tcdmct - 24 Jan 2007 11:28 - 625 of 2087

Ready to report on sugar and i must be good going with the buying,1 buyer buying 100,000,must be someone in the know.

shadow - 24 Jan 2007 13:24 - 626 of 2087

The Sugarloaf-1 is virtually ready to announce the amount of recoverable 800BCF. Well testing is in process , following the interpretation of wireline logs which have identified gas saturated sands that may result in a potential reservoir. a lot of activity buying in progress, as news is just around the corner. Then the share price will rally also as Financial Instituations have a placeing of 1.30p.and could pass a great deal higher.?

oilyrag - 25 Jan 2007 09:44 - 627 of 2087

All blue again, touch wood. Good quantities going through, price should start to rise rapidly soon.

oilyrag - 25 Jan 2007 09:46 - 628 of 2087

Typical, whilst posting last message, first red for 2000 shares went through.

cynic - 25 Jan 2007 14:34 - 629 of 2087

still not a share for me, but certainly very active today which indicates either someone genuinely knows something or the world and his wife hopoes someone does .... obviously re Sugarloaf ..... as always, be aware that anticipation often or even usually beats actuality hands down

shadow - 25 Jan 2007 14:37 - 630 of 2087

the oil barrell mentioned details that increased efforts are been made to aid the Sugarloaf-1 and margarita sites in Texas , and news will arrive from Australia on the huge reserves have to offer, upbeat to over 115p.

oilyrag - 25 Jan 2007 14:38 - 631 of 2087

Probably have to react quickly after reading the next RNS whenever that may be.

cynic - 25 Jan 2007 14:58 - 632 of 2087

often better to bank at least some profits beforehand .... but entirely a personal call

hlyeo98 - 25 Jan 2007 18:01 - 633 of 2087

Oh...this will move downwards again tomorrow below 48p. Just MMs causing some excitement.

oilyrag - 25 Jan 2007 19:26 - 634 of 2087

The only reason that the price dropped off towards the end of day, was that the MM's opened the spread to curb buying. Funny to watch but it didn't work. If momentum stays with punters buying then the price should continue to rise. If the sole reason for the rise is someone having a little fun, then they should be locked up for insider dealing, conning the public and blatantly lying just to make money. Very unethical.

maestro - 25 Jan 2007 19:34 - 635 of 2087

cynic...whats your view on IGG?...surely you are not negative on that stock

cynic - 25 Jan 2007 20:15 - 636 of 2087

strange as it may seem, i have never held them .... as a company i like their style and ethos, but that is not the same as wanting to invest there

maestro - 25 Jan 2007 20:32 - 637 of 2087

must be a big threat though to normal brokers...i've stopped using them due to rip off dealing costs and broker boys who never get the best price...IGG must surely be a very tempting bid target before long
