CEY is a gold mining company operating in Egypt. It was ordered by the Egyptian Government to stop drilling pending a legal dispute brought against the company by a government minister.
Since then, the whole Government cabinet was replaced a few months ago and the minister now in charge of Mining is believed to be positive on Western investment in the country. CEY are pushing for this minister to allow them to continue drilling ASAP; investers are waiting....patiently.
As soon as the company gets the go-ahead to continue drilling, the share price will move north; CEY has plenty of gold in this mine and it is (apparantly) the case of "raking" it out rather than drilling for it!
Check them out...worthy of a punt.

Not really much more to say that hasn't already been said. Mubarak to go sometime soon. Who will take over after him. I am just surprised that the extremists haven't raised their heads yet, but maybe the military have got a tight grip on things.
Buys & sells about even so far today, but wouldn't be surprised to see the sp drift when we get nearer to the weekend.

don't often disagree with you nowadays, but i think you'll find that if mubarak loses the support of the army, and i'ld hazard he's close to doing so, then mubarak will get booted pdq

His son was lined up to take over. No one has yet asked him if he would prefer to take over a troubled country and don the mantle of Presidency or live in luxury for the rest of his life in a friendly tax haven. Hmmmmm......tough choice!

something of an exaggeration, but certainly his refusal to stand down willingly and promptly is decidedly destructive and verging on the foolishly manic ...... given that mubarak's power base is not like saddam's (of blessed memory!), i would not be at all surprised to see him suddenly make the "grand gesture" having been "persuaded" by one means or another by external powers
