Deltex (DEMG)

grajul - 19 Feb 2004 13:39

Hi all
pretty new to all this. I have pumped some into Deltex - looks like a strong product with good growth. Could be a steady gainer.
Does anyone else have this, and anyone have some research on it? Someone with more experience than me!
thanks in advance.

Agreed wilbs - and lets hope no-one requires the DEMG facility particularly during the season of goodwill.

If they do, please report on this thread as to what you thought of it!!

Wilbs,

The NHS must be setting their budgets for next financial year soon, lets hope there are some contracts for Deltex in there!! If CardioQ has been sold properly and has the backing of leading clinicians it is a no-brainer for the cash-strapped hospitals. Still holding here as excellent prospects so long as physical orders are not delayed too long.

Anyone know the date of finals being announced? Will it be encouraging news for the start of the current year? Who's still keeping the faith?

Don't know but still keeping the faith for now, they have a product that is better for the patient and cost-effective for the hospitals and the idiot Blair.

Good to see you in on this one too, andysmith

Just for the record, and in case anyone is interested:

The "sell" of 10,023 recorded at 8:04 this am was not a sell. (It was my buy).

Cheers, Madison

Perhaps I should have made my point more clearly, ie.

If the system was/is interpreting all transactions at 23.7p as sells, then possibly most of the sells (so far)are actually buys. I know this is on such a small volume that it's of no major significance - just thought it might be useful to someone considering DEMG.

Stockdog, I like these companies with products that provide positives on several fronts and just like SEO I believe once some decent deals come through this will also take off. Deciding whether to top up whilst this low, only thing putting me off adding is that if deals don't come soon the cash position is not strong.

stockdog - 14 Feb 2005 17:14 - 74 of 968

Andysmith, I agree they ahve a very good product and are doing all the right things to establish their place in the market - UK, US and EU (China next?). Let's hope results show better than hoped for progress to give the SP a much needed lift.

stockdog - 17 Feb 2005 16:02 - 75 of 968

Seems to be a bit of a concerted sell off going on here. Quite a few 10k, 25k and a 50k marked as sells.

Is it a few MM's shaking the tree to pick up cheap stock before anticipated good news announcement, or have loads of individual smallholders suddenly spontaneously decided to sell out?

Or is it something really serious? Can't seem to find much out.

I think that due to lack of news that mm's have marked down price and this has probably triggered alot of stop loss sells..(imho.)
We need some good news released soon... or sp will continue drift downwards.
I bought in at 28p on the back of numerous tips and planned to operate a stop loss ...however, i didn't this time.. hope it eventually comes good !

stockdog - 17 Feb 2005 16:52 - 77 of 968

I bought sky-high too, skyhigh! I also ignored my rigourous stop-loss policy. The underlying product is just too good to miss out on, even if I have to pay for the privilege - not that I'm in love with any of my holdings, of course.

Come on Deltex, our blood needs re-oxygenating, bugger the NHS!

Sorry folks but sold out yesterday at a loss to put into something else, I am concerned at their cash position if the deals don't come through and at the fact that the sp approaching 12month low. I have left some cash free though and put Deltex on my watchlist/alert to get back in if significant news about deals comes to fruition. if I play this right I could recover my losses as fundamentally I still think this is a fantastic product waiting to breakout.

stockdog - 17 Feb 2005 19:27 - 79 of 968

Respect, AS, see you again on the way up, I hope.

I can't see any fundamental reason for the SP to drop like it is now, when it didn't do so badly on the delayed implementation news on 5th January. So I am willing to assume MM manipulation which leads to the conclusion we are due some good news and upward momentum soonish.

As ever, in for the mdeium term - a year or so - so no hurry and haven't the skill to time the market in and out on each adverse movement. So they're stuck with me on the register, I'm afraid.

I will be back Stockdog but no pun intended, this was becoming the dog of my portfolio and didn't want to undo my progress this year if this went into free-fall, like you though, can't see why, bloody good product and saves the government dosh so why not specified?????????????
Within minutes of selling, put it straight onto my watchlist, if I get lucky, might be able to buy back for same price or less than I have sold.
Am I trading!!! Sounds like it but not really. If you hear anything good, please post on here and I'll be back in.

jmayell - 17 Feb 2005 21:54 - 81 of 968

Many misleading trades today. I bought 50k @ 20.24p at 13:59 which showed as a sell. It was possible to buy well within the spead all day long. Sneaky feeling says this was a well timed shake before the news we've all been waiting for.

Good luck all holders.
