NIGHTHAWK 6 BAGGER ON DEBUT. (HAWK)

oilyrag - 12 Mar 2007 07:10

Pre IPO price 4p
Opening price on debut 25p
Floatation price 46p to raise 14million to extend Jolly Ranch
Current fair value estimate 114p
Market cap 70.59 million.
Value of Cisco Springs investments 98 million.
Value of Vogel investments 75 million.
Desparado trucking now Nightfox 250,000 for a 50% stake with partner Running Foxes.
Centurion Project Kansas, 150,000 for a 50% stake.
Jolly Ranch Colorado, 40,000 acres cost 356,000 for a 50% stake.
Cash in bank 7.75 million.

As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

2.8billion barrels of oil.... now that's a really big pie in the sky..... daniel stewart are trying hard to improve their credibility....not.

Yo oilyrag, -not my calcs, a cutnpaste from elsewhere, which was admittedly on the light-hearted side (we deserve it after recent weeks eh?). But it shows how the sale price is becoming the prominent talk, I think all but the most skeptical followers know we have a 'biggy' now.

tbh, I will be dancing if I score 250p, though I think 500p is way more likely, and yep, I never thought I would say that, such is the impact of the Jolly 'surprise'.

Check out this new note from HW:
"..The continuing drilling success reinforces our opinion that Jolly Ranch is developing into a world class project..."

halifax, why are you so sore? caught-out by the recent rise? LOL
Don't worry, I'll keep you posted come sale time and remind you of your skepticism, or alternately, you will be able to show me my faith was misguided. Lets see.

cynic - 04 Nov 2008 08:13 - 652 of 1373

sp ticking up again this morning which implies that yesterday may not have been just a flash in the pan .... however, it is worth remembering that only about 3 months ago, sp was north of 100

gnashlevel2 - 04 Nov 2008 08:18 - 653 of 1373

Yep cynic, but we had a world markets crash which took out the whole sector, so Hawk was 100% blameless. This is a golden opp to revisit last summer's prices, but with in effect a far more lucrative prospect to boot.

cynic - 04 Nov 2008 08:24 - 654 of 1373

i was just making an observation

gnashlevel2 - 04 Nov 2008 08:25 - 655 of 1373

I know mate, just saying for the new investors that may visit here :-)

Guys, check out PTR (Petroneft on AIM),....might have hit the bottom as well...I'm at a loss on that one but am keeping the faith...you will get in at a much better price than myself !.

required field - 04 Nov 2008 09:27 - 657 of 1373

Wooosssshhh...this morning, thar she blows (West country accent) !.

cynic - 04 Nov 2008 09:59 - 658 of 1373

thought i might have been a bit rash yesterday topping up at 43.75, but so far it looks a good move

required field - 04 Nov 2008 10:28 - 659 of 1373

Might be in the mid fifties by the end of week...the way things are going...loads of buys by what I can see on Money AM.

cynic - 04 Nov 2008 10:36 - 660 of 1373

trouble is, that could be the 10-day traders and similar who will just as quickly evaporate or be forced out

hlyeo98 - 04 Nov 2008 10:39 - 661 of 1373

Certainly looks like the HAWK has lifted off

cynic - 04 Nov 2008 10:46 - 662 of 1373

and decent volume too

required field - 05 Nov 2008 10:45 - 663 of 1373

Pullback time...still think that this will be in to the fifties shortly...hope I'm right !.

cynic - 05 Nov 2008 12:38 - 664 of 1373

it's had a hell of a run of late, and some profit taking was almost inevitable

gibby - 05 Nov 2008 16:59 - 665 of 1373

profit taking expected - good time to add on dips - my original target for hawk for sometime is between 300 & 500p nothing changed since my research in fact it just keeps getting better - just a bit more patience! gl all

HARRYCAT - 05 Nov 2008 23:18 - 666 of 1373

Just an extract from the article posted on the DES thread (InvChron):
"But he does rate Nighthawk Energy, which he says is "ridiculously oversold". Its main quality, according to Mr Heeley, is its presence in the US: "Russia's falling apart, Ukraine is falling apart. The US is fiscally stable, politically stable and the world's largest energy market."

required field - 06 Nov 2008 08:37 - 667 of 1373

Down again, but it is only a matter of time before this resumes its upward course !.

silvermede - 06 Nov 2008 11:31 - 668 of 1373

One aspect discussed post Obama's succesful election is that the USA imports too much oil. HAWKs 'small' contribution will no doubt be welcomed.
