guiness please

stockbunny - 10 Aug 2005 11:35 - 6508 of 24230

By the glass or the bucket Jeffmack?
;>)

optomistic - 10 Aug 2005 11:37 - 6509 of 24230

Beef cooked in Guinness would be nice, need something a little warming today, bit cool up here.

stockbunny - 10 Aug 2005 11:48 - 6510 of 24230

Done! I'll put it in a pressure cooker get it done faster,
new tatties and runner beans then.

How about cherry pie and custard to follow?
(sorry Jeff can't think how to work in guinness into the pudding, but
will ensure you have plenty of guinness-gravy with the beef!)

optomistic - 10 Aug 2005 11:53 - 6511 of 24230

Yes Bunny, I can see it would be difficult to incorporate Guinness into cherry pie :-)

stockbunny - 10 Aug 2005 12:00 - 6512 of 24230

Well Jeff can of course add his own - stir it in in the custard or
something, but i should think a nice big glassful with it will do the trick!

optomistic - 10 Aug 2005 12:10 - 6513 of 24230

Guinness and custard....well Jeff does like Guinness :-)

stockbunny - 10 Aug 2005 12:13 - 6514 of 24230

optomistic - 10 Aug 2005 13:31 - 6516 of 24230

Have a word with Socs about that Jeff..........he's a trifle specialist :-)

stockbunny - 10 Aug 2005 14:29 - 6517 of 24230

Don't know how I'd do a guinness trifle Jeffie - Socs is possibly
your best bet! :>)

Socrates - 10 Aug 2005 16:32 - 6518 of 24230

Shock, horror. Guinness Trifle! Well I suppose somebody might like it. Never seen a recipe for one so I suppose if you try Jeffers, you could be breaking new ground. You could become famous if you crack it.

By the way, good evening all.

stockbunny - 10 Aug 2005 16:37 - 6519 of 24230

Evening Socs - good day today?

Socrates - 10 Aug 2005 16:56 - 6520 of 24230

Moderate thanks Bunny, warm and close though. I'll be much happier when it freshens up a bit.

Got a few bits of blue in my portfolio too, plus 50 on a premium bond.

Big Al - 10 Aug 2005 20:53 - 6521 of 24230
