As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

Guys, check out PTR (Petroneft on AIM),....might have hit the bottom as well...I'm at a loss on that one but am keeping the faith...you will get in at a much better price than myself !.

Might be in the mid fifties by the end of week...the way things are going...loads of buys by what I can see on Money AM.

trouble is, that could be the 10-day traders and similar who will just as quickly evaporate or be forced out

it's had a hell of a run of late, and some profit taking was almost inevitable

profit taking expected - good time to add on dips - my original target for hawk for sometime is between 300 & 500p nothing changed since my research in fact it just keeps getting better - just a bit more patience! gl all

One aspect discussed post Obama's succesful election is that the USA imports too much oil. HAWKs 'small' contribution will no doubt be welcomed.

gnashlevel2 we hear Hawk is aiming to produce 1000 bopd in 2009....... quite along way to go before they become a serious producer.

surely you mean 50,000 or more - lol!

No 5000 bopd is end 2009 target they are also going to raise funds to meet rising capital expenditure probably by issuing about 10% more shares to new investors.

Reading through the RNS's, I would like to guess in excess of 10000 barrels of oil per day at end of 2009 attributable to HAWK.....but this will continue to increase as more and more wells are bought on line...plus the gas....and there is oil everywhere on their acreages....so the sp at present levels is a joke !, (if you take in the future production)....my conclusion (for what it is worth) in my humble opinion is buy and tuck away.....the company probably can't give exact future production but it does look promising...the number of producing wells will be staggering, albeit small amounts but small streams make big rivers !.
