THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

He Abdu Hamza should have been thrown out years ago (or preferably shot). Just wondering how much it has cost to keep him in this country. Not just whilst he has been in prison but including his trial, appeals and also all the money he has had in benefits. It makes me very angry to think that in my working live (46 years) all the taxes I have paid probably did not total the amount paid to this parasitical scumbag. What the hell are we working for when leaches like him reap the benefits.
Come the revolution brothers. Time to man the barrakades. (Just been to see LES MISERABLES). The French had the right idea.

We are also paying his wife and ex-wives social security benefits.
According to Question Time last night, we pay social security benefits for up to four CURRENT wives for those Muslims who indulge in polygamy.
Don't get me wrong, I realise these are probably few and far between and the vast majority of Muslims are thoroughly decent peaceful people, but it's the principle of not supporting multiple wives. I would feel similarly annoyed if they were Mormons.

His children go to private school apparently.

Judge Says Hamza Lied

OMG !

And to think he was on disability benefits until 2003 . This is where we needed Maggie Thatcher.

hewittalan6 - 08 Feb 2008 13:00 - 6577 of 81564

I agree with MrCharts on the majority being thoroughly decent people, but we could have said much the same about Germany in the late 1930's.
It is not the individual that irks me, much as I hate Abu Hamster at a cellular level, and hope he is sentanced to the rest of eternity with a strimmer down his underpants. I hate both the steaming pile of pus ridden disrespect and lamentable value of life held for others that gave rise to such a grotesque piece a donkey 5hit, and the mealy mouthed do-good liberal academic brigade who cannot see past their veggie burgers and nanny knows best supremecy far enough to stop him reducing our nation to a music hall joke.
Feeling at my most fair minded and laisez faire today.

I've often wondered if he might suffer the same fate as Captain Hook - anyone know how HE died?

BAYLIS - 08 Feb 2008 13:55 - 6579 of 81564

CROC got him.

No, Baylis - he scratched his balls with the wrong hand!

MrCharts - 08 Feb 2008 14:14 - 6583 of 81564

I tried to contact Rowan Williams to have a discussion re Sharia Law in this country, but was told he was unavailable praying for Abdu Hanza and other Muslim fanatics.
No problem, after all we are all equal in the eyes of the lord, Murderers, Terrorists and the like.
Yer Right. If they wanted a volunteer to execute him (that's Abdu Hanza and not Rowan Williams), just pass me the gun.

MrCharts - 08 Feb 2008 15:06 - 6585 of 81564

soon it will change from "hug a hoodie" to "hug a hookie"
the govt has banned their own use of the phrase "islamic terrorism" and substituted "anti-islamic activity"
the mind boggles
if I was Muslim I would be so embarrassed by what was being done in my name by my so-called co-religionists and even by the govt

hewittalan6 - 08 Feb 2008 17:04 - 6586 of 81564

The damn apologists for outrages in this country always make me think of the woman who appears on regional news bulletins saying, "He's a nice lad, our Shane, except his fixation with Nazis, axes and pitbull terriers", just as he is sentanced for murder.
Those who excuse and apolgise for the way the minority extreme scumbags behave should be made to live in the areas where these people live and see how quickly they become rabid hang 'em and flog 'em merchants.
20 minutes is my guess.

My friend is a prison warder, and a plot was recently discovered by a gang calling themselves "the muslim boys" to capture and hold hostage a prison officer. the plot was to demand many things but regardless of outcome, they had the means and the intention of beheading him.

Alan,

There is a saying that if you look hard enough you will find some good in everyone.
Don't know who the saying is attributed to but he/she must be a contender for idiot of the century.
I firmly believe that the world would be far better off without a fair number of these people. They put nothing into society, but just take out.

We, IE the powers that be continue to pussy foot around with these people until the next atrocity then we will hear the usual platitudes and promises to do something drastic. All wind p**s and no action is the usual result.

By the way, why are most thugs on TV called Shane?

Oh well must calm down for the weekend. Have a good one all.

In his second day of testimony, Steve Wright insisted to jurors at Ipswich Crown Court that he had nothing to do with the deaths of the five prostitutes he had been with.

This was despite similarities between the killings and the night shift pattern of Wright's partner Pamela -- who did not know about his trysts.

Under a barrage of prosecution questions on Friday, the 49-year-old claimed it was a coincidence that he had picked up the five women he is accused of killing and in in the order that they died.

Yeah Steve, just a coincidence. We believe you, but thousands wouldn't.

My 5 says the jury won't take any longer than a couple of hours to decide on this.

Greekman, there are similar views to yours on the other side of the fence.

I suggest that Rowan Williams's lecture should be read in full before it is condemned, one may possibly understand what he is addressing.

I don't think that he is advocating the primitive aspects or translated Sharia law, Judaism or Christian law or culture, but there aspects of all which can be incorporated into secular British law without distortion of its fundamental values.

As stated many times I am an atheist but do respect the role that various religions have given the malority of us a moral code and form the basis of secular law and respect of othere.

What is going on with the country, was listening to the radio earlier and some Bishop is being critisied for saying we should adopt some aspects of other religions.... Thats great, we might finally fill a few churchs in Sunday mass.... I vote also for the cutting off of the offending part and also stoneing in public, what a great idea.. Honestly though I'm not religious and they already have their own Islamic Bank of Britian plus Mosques so what does it all really matter....
