NIGHTHAWK 6 BAGGER ON DEBUT. (HAWK)

oilyrag - 12 Mar 2007 07:10

Pre IPO price 4p
Opening price on debut 25p
Floatation price 46p to raise 14million to extend Jolly Ranch
Current fair value estimate 114p
Market cap 70.59 million.
Value of Cisco Springs investments 98 million.
Value of Vogel investments 75 million.
Desparado trucking now Nightfox 250,000 for a 50% stake with partner Running Foxes.
Centurion Project Kansas, 150,000 for a 50% stake.
Jolly Ranch Colorado, 40,000 acres cost 356,000 for a 50% stake.
Cash in bank 7.75 million.

As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

Just an extract from the article posted on the DES thread (InvChron):
"But he does rate Nighthawk Energy, which he says is "ridiculously oversold". Its main quality, according to Mr Heeley, is its presence in the US: "Russia's falling apart, Ukraine is falling apart. The US is fiscally stable, politically stable and the world's largest energy market."

Down again, but it is only a matter of time before this resumes its upward course !.

silvermede - 06 Nov 2008 11:31 - 668 of 1373

One aspect discussed post Obama's succesful election is that the USA imports too much oil. HAWKs 'small' contribution will no doubt be welcomed.

halifax - 07 Nov 2008 16:15 - 669 of 1373

gnashlevel2 we hear Hawk is aiming to produce 1000 bopd in 2009....... quite along way to go before they become a serious producer.

cynic - 07 Nov 2008 16:17 - 670 of 1373

perhaps they omitted a couple of "0s" - lol!

halifax - 07 Nov 2008 16:47 - 671 of 1373

Thereafter they hope to ramp up to 5000 bopd.

cynic - 07 Nov 2008 17:00 - 672 of 1373

surely you mean 50,000 or more - lol!

halifax - 07 Nov 2008 17:10 - 673 of 1373

No 5000 bopd is end 2009 target they are also going to raise funds to meet rising capital expenditure probably by issuing about 10% more shares to new investors.

Reading through the RNS's, I would like to guess in excess of 10000 barrels of oil per day at end of 2009 attributable to HAWK.....but this will continue to increase as more and more wells are bought on line...plus the gas....and there is oil everywhere on their acreages....so the sp at present levels is a joke !, (if you take in the future production)....my conclusion (for what it is worth) in my humble opinion is buy and tuck away.....the company probably can't give exact future production but it does look promising...the number of producing wells will be staggering, albeit small amounts but small streams make big rivers !.

required field - 07 Nov 2008 17:24 - 675 of 1373

Halifax, where do you get this information from ?, ref posts : 669,671 and then 673...???

cynic - 07 Nov 2008 17:30 - 676 of 1373

it may be that fraccing will allow these small puddles to be joined up

gnashlevel2 - 07 Nov 2008 17:30 - 677 of 1373

halifax, if I recall Jolly 16-1 flows in tests over 445bopd, plus over 1MMcfpd gas. Craig 8-1 is over 300bopd on test & 'significant gas'. Jolly 2-1 on the lower-rate Marmaton is still able to show 20-30 bopd of top-quality crude. There is signifiant valuable LNG prospect and by Spring 2009 the cryo' plant will be in place to capitalise on that bonus find. Running Foxes are working flat-out on the projects and well commissioning continues nicely.

You come on this board, and expect anyone to believe that "1000" bopd as a 2009 target do you, when merely the first test wells are flowing nearly 800 bopd between just 3 wells? Oh and we forget the Buchanan prospect too?

So come on then halifax, who is the 'they' you quote this comical figure from. I will make DB aware of your asnwer to confirm things. Who is they? Put up or retract that statement.

gnashlevel2 - 07 Nov 2008 17:31 - 678 of 1373

seriously halifax, you are brazen liar or party to malicious rumours. You could have your arse sued for this.

halifax - 07 Nov 2008 17:39 - 679 of 1373

gnasshlevel2 suggest you speak to DB.

gnashlevel2 - 07 Nov 2008 17:44 - 680 of 1373

Halifax, I will make David Bramhill aware of your malicious rumour. Get this guys, he now asks us to believe he has the (what would be sensitive and privileged) information from the MD himself. You dig a hole Halifax, I'm not the only one here totally pissed off with malicious rumours and the damage they have done this companies sp in the past.

halifax - 07 Nov 2008 17:47 - 681 of 1373

What is maliicious about producing 1-5000 bopd as a target they have to start somewhere!

gnashlevel2 - 07 Nov 2008 17:52 - 682 of 1373

Rabbits out the hat now Halifax, you came hear with a statement of fact or a malicious rumour, I am already cutting and pasting the posts to, as you suggest, "speak to DB".

Not a very good backtrack, I ask you again (as has another) who is 'they' and if you won't say then you are standing as the source of a company-damaging malicious rumour and I am not standing for it, I have an enormous holding in Hawk and I am not of a frame of mind to let this pass.

gnashlevel2 - 07 Nov 2008 17:55 - 683 of 1373

The bit about claiming knowledge of fundraising is especially damaging and I will press the management to pursue this if this turns to be malicioud rumour.

required field - 07 Nov 2008 17:56 - 684 of 1373

HAWK will bring on line dozens of wells in the next year or so !, I cannot recall them giving a specific target....how can they ?....one well is 800 barrels...the next is 300 and so on, but putting 2 and 2 together I come up with : very good future production !.

halifax - 07 Nov 2008 18:14 - 685 of 1373

gnashlevel2 do you know how much cash has to develop their oil wells? As the project increases in size more investment will be required and this will have to be raised as positive cashflow has yet to become significant.
