Exploration update 3rd August 2006 - Red Rock Resources PLC said a significant new iron discovery has been made at its Central Yilgarn Iron Project in Australia. Jupiter is targeting extra iron ore tonnage of over 20 mln tonnes from the discovery. Production from the Central Yilgarn Iron Project is planned to be crushed on site, trucked to Menzies, 90 kilometres away, and then railed to the Port of Esperance

Red Rock Resources plc said it has signed a
deal with Zambian firm Chiman Manufacturing Ltd for the processing of manganese
to produce ferromanganese.
The mineral exploration and development company said Chiman will provide
crushing, preparation, and processing of ore supplied by Red Rock's Zambian unit
from stockpiles and surface material at its Chiwefwe mining license.
The company added it expects to make first deliveries shortly.

At least RRR are getting gold out of the mine. Just need to squeeze a bit more I think!

Peter Bolt, on the face of it, seems to be a good choice. Worked for a firm started off in Wales so he must be ok. :o)

Looks like they had a tea leaf which is now rid of, production is on the increase and with the new appointment all looking good this will all come together in the end.

Just put two and two together.

A significant decrease in recovery rates at the plant led to this drop in sales. A number of personnel have been released and some processing issues have been identified and addressed. Recovery rates have started to improve.

I took 'released' to mean sacked due to being caught with their hands in the jar as well, but I would guess they can't say this explicitally (or it would be inadvisable to) in an RNS until they have been through the courts etc.

i think kenya is among the top 5 of most corrupt nations so it is a racing certainty that many of the "fraternity" there are having their palms well greased ..... some get too greedy and stupid and thus get the boot

hopefully, they have now got all of the bad news out from Columbia and the next RNS will be positive and continue with the increase production from the mine !
