Damage want too bad and good to know that thieves really are stupid - they managed to steal the 30 drill that was underneath a 400 one which they left. Lost quite a few low value tools and some brand new light fittings but could have been a lot worse.

Socs, a very kind offer but not a trifle fan - shall have a pint while i wait for the local takeaway to bring my dinner

Same thing happened to my mother last week - she let someone (a woman!) into the house and a few hours later realised her handbag was gone.

Hey - speaking of which, Socks, I saw this and thought of you...I know you'd do the same over a trifle ;)

German pensioner attacks woman over poolside chair

BERLIN (Reuters) - An elderly German grew so attached to a poolside deckchair that he attacked a woman who moved his towel to another lounger, police said on Tuesday.

When the 76-year-old pensioner returned to his favourite spot at a pool in the central town of Bad Endbach, he was enraged to find the woman, 29, had moved his towel to an unoccupied lounger so she could lie down next to her mother.

The other chair was just the same "but he didn't want to use that one," said a police spokesman in nearby Marburg.

When abusive language failed to shift the woman, the furious senior citizen got physical. "He tipped the chair over and her with it," the spokesman said. "She couldn't believe he went so far over such a trifle."

Afternoon all, I was just about to go the airport to fly back home from cloggyland when I get told my flight has been cancelled! So I am sitting here in our office 11 floors above Den Haag Stations watching the trains and wishing I was somewhere else... Thisnk I might go to the airport and have a few beers ....

Oh well a week off work next week.
