Nice sunny day here - hope the same with you!

stockbunny - 26 Aug 2005 10:36 - 6786 of 24230

Sun shining here too, but bit windy!
Market looks better - yippeeeeeee!!!!!!
I was beginning to think everyone was off somewhere nice rather
then trading, guess people are wrapping a few things up pre-bank holiday.

Houmous, tarasamalata (can't spell today LOL) but you know what I mean,
cheese and chive dip, spicy chile dip, sour cream dip etc with a selection
of veggie 'dippers', pitta bread and bagettes available for munching whilst
working today.

jj50 - 26 Aug 2005 10:56 - 6787 of 24230

Don't think we have the bank holiday in Scotland - expect the banks do though!

Feeling quite peckish .. shall help myself to those dips thanks Bunny!

stockbunny - 26 Aug 2005 11:20 - 6788 of 24230

Isn't it the beginning of the month in Scotland..in fact didn't it
used to be the same this side of the boarder years ago?

jj50 - 26 Aug 2005 11:22 - 6789 of 24230

That would mean I have missed it then! LOL

Big Al - 26 Aug 2005 11:23 - 6790 of 24230

We don't need bank holidays. We work for a living. ;-))))

Won't be office-bound, though. LOL

stockbunny - 26 Aug 2005 11:33 - 6791 of 24230

LOL ;>)

stockbunny - 26 Aug 2005 13:38 - 6792 of 24230

JJ - I take it you have seen the news on RBS re bank of China?
Going to put the kettle on on anticipation of a buzzing market afternoon
LOL
Well I can hope......

jj50 - 26 Aug 2005 13:52 - 6793 of 24230

:-)) Thought that might be the case Al!

Well it's heading north slowly Bunny.

Belkin now tell me they do have a problem with the Barclays Stockbroker website, not just me! Should be called wireless, unless you want to connect to ....... perhaps they are being paid by comdirect, it is still working. LOL but what a waste of time!

optomistic - 26 Aug 2005 13:53 - 6794 of 24230

Bunny...you've got to have hope. Without it we are doomed...aye we are doomed ( remember Dad's Army) :-)
I'll join you in a pot of tea, well not in it...........really!!

stockbunny - 26 Aug 2005 13:56 - 6795 of 24230

Oh and there was me looking forward to a swift round of backstroke
in the tea-pot Opto! ;>)

Well at least they have admitted there's a problem on the website JJ
but that's hardly of any great help to those customers affected,
at least comdirect IS functioning...technology - great isn't it?!
;>)

jj50 - 26 Aug 2005 14:25 - 6796 of 24230

OK, early afternoon tea with large supplies of sticky
buns at the ready ..... I noticed how the men came
running yesterday at the mention of "tarts" in the cafe! :-)
