I've not heard anything more about the dividend, although Edison assumed a dividend would be paid out this year in their recent report on the company.

Broker note out given value 20-60p may have something to do with it.

Also, quite a bit of news due from Kenya (not to mention from JMS/RSL)

I am taking this as a positive:-

Issue of Equity
Dated: 1 October 2010

Red Rock Resources plc ("Red Rock" or the "Company") announces that it has today issued 998,460 new ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each ('Ordinary Shares') in the Company at a price of 6 pence per Ordinary Share, in settlement of an agreed invoice from Kansai Mining Corporation, conditional on the Shares being admitted to trading on AIM (the "Issue").

Following the issue of the Shares the Company's total issued ordinary share capital will be 654,387,240 ordinary shares of 0.1p. Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange for the Shares, which rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealings are expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 7 October 2010.

RRR are not reducing their cash balance and Kansai are obviously happy to hold shares in RRR rather than be paid 59900 in cash. Sweet. Well, I think so anyway!

2517GEORGE - 01 Oct 2010 16:53 - 79 of 859

Chairman sold just over half his holding @ 6p, I thought these were going to 20p+. Ok it was only 360,000 shares, but.

He also sold 1,000,000 yesterday George. He has a history of selling after he has been granted share options. The latest round of options were:-

Red Rock Resources plc ("Red Rock" or the "Company") announces that on 22 September 2010 it granted options to subscribe for a total 17 million ordinary shares to directors and employees. Of these, options in respect of 11,000,000 ordinary shares are exercisable at a price of 3.2 pence per share, expiring on the fifth anniversary of grant. One half may be exercised immediately, with the balance once year after the date of grant. These were granted as below:

Andrew Bell 3,250,000
Michael Nott 2,000,000
John Watkins 1,000,000
Manoli Yannaghas 1,000,000
Robert Weicker 250,000

Although you can't blame him for selling, I bet he is kicking himself that he didn't get a better price!

Balerboy - 04 Oct 2010 13:51 - 81 of 859

CEO sold another 360000 today, don't encourage you does it.,.

kimoldfield - 04 Oct 2010 14:39 - 82 of 859

I think that was last week BB! He still holds 340,000 and has the following options:-

1,600,000, Expiry Date 31 May 2011, Exercise Price 1.25 pence
750,000, Expiry Date 11 May 2012, Exercise Price 3.5 pence
10,000,000, Expiry Date 3 June 2014, Exercise Price 1.1 pence
3,250,000, Expiry Date 22 Sept 2015, Exercise Price 3.2 pence

He exercised 1,400,000 options on 25.9.2010 at 1.25p part of which he sold on 30.9.10 (1,000,000) at 6.09p and on 1.10.10 (360,000) at 6p. I'm not discouraged by the fact that we have a money maker at the helm! ;o)

kosyboy - 04 Oct 2010 14:55 - 83 of 859

Can you see these going higher??

kimoldfield - 04 Oct 2010 16:18 - 84 of 859

The 'experts' estimate an sp anywhere between 20 and 60p. A little optimistic for the short term maybe but I would not be surprised to see 10p. Please do your own thorough research though!
