Strewth, I spoke to soon. These big buys will probably be delayed, so difficult to guess if buy or sells, thereofore where they slot into todays spread is irrelevant. My hunch is that if they are delayed, then they are buys. Whatever, PXC must issue a statement soon.

Don't know, but I've topped up and averaged down this afternoon. There's got to be a RNS later, that 80mill trade alone represents 4% of the stock. Wonder if it's a takeover?

something is in the air....need to brush up on the detail of the last Investec report to refresh my memory of the upside potential here!

I aint been looking at my Pipex shares for a while (been to busy looking at my NLR flying), glad I hung in, only 2% more and I am back in the money, taken a bit longer than I thought though to get there though :)

Lets hope its worth the wait

Lets put it this way, folks who bought today(with some serious wedge, maybe institutuions/takeover?) will be looking to make from 8p onwards, 30-40% brokers note a while back was 16-18p year end I think

Pipex Communications jumped 1p to 8.25p as Collins Stewart cleared a large seller from the market. The stock is believed to have belonged to a former director of Pipex. Analysts expect the stock to continue to make progress.

goldfinger hello again, it appears we have more than one common interest. a friend of mine in the communications industry has enlightened me that the way forward for Pipex is to develop the technology so could this be the start of fund raising by customer base numbers.
