Our local week long fiesta ends Sunday at midnight with a big firework display. (Spanish fireworks tend to be a lot of noise and smoke and not so many pretty colours as in UK.)

Be nice to get back to normal next week.......... Beginning to flag after a week of it.....

Managed to find my way here again, which is handy, as it's FRIDAY!!
And I have cause to celebrate, portfolio finished the week +ve for once, and more than 1 up, almost a biblical event..:-)
Furthermore I have just received confirmation that I passed the paper sift with my application to join Socs talk-to-yourself club...Hurrah!!!
The only downside to this is that apparently you have to do your own interview, and the story goes I am a mean bastard when interviewing, so I'm getting quite nervous now...

Nonetheless, live for the day!, must be cause for a bottle of DP Vin, I sure as hell hope so, I've bloody well earned it this week...CHEERS!

Good morning all, a fresh day with some rain and a grey sky. Goodbye to an eminently forgettable week.

I've got to say that September is not my favourite month, all the annual type bills start popping in, car insurance, tele license and house insurance all seem to fall around at the same time.

And another thing..........

Just had communication electronique from Telewest saying that they are increasing the speed of my internet service from 1 Meg to 4 Meg at no extra cost. Darned cheek, where is the street cred in not being able to say " I have 4 Meg internet and it costs me a small fortune".

Such is life, I shall just have to type a lot faster.

Now for a delve into the hammock to see if any of the ladies are around, I feel I have been neglecting them.

Talking of degree I am the only holder I know of and MSC in boring people to death by talking about nothing at great length in a fairly authoritive manner without actually know what I am talking about.....

As I have invoked conversation, albeit being somewhat delayed (owing to Socs needing to eat next week) does that mean I have failed my exam?

optimistic, probably, they all seem to pass these days, not like the old days when exams were hard to pass and we lived on 2p per week in a shed.
