Modern Water up 25% today, seemingly on no news. Does anyone know the reason for the rise?

very interesting article in Shares Mag.
i think the concept and thus the company is very "sexy" in this day and age.
assuredly there is much potential application all over the world, including countries like portugal and spain which throw oceans of water at their golf courses etc, do the detriment of their aquifers - those don't contain an infinite supply whatever they might like to think!

i suspect the plant in oman was built either for free or at cost at best.
there is also the big question as to MWG can expect to become profitable - or a t/o target i suppose.

for all the caveats, a small dabble could not be regarded as stupid

Agreed - but isn't this typical of new technology. The initial hype overtakes reality and it takes time for adoption/sales to build. Given the product range and the global environmental pressures I'm happy to hold and would top up if the sp fell.

Long wait but finally heading north in spetacular fashion

Still ploughing my lone furrow on this one. Another false dawn perhaps but looks like it finally has momentum to sales and hence the share price.

probably because everyone else recognises that this remains a crap company ...... just check back to the 2009(!!!) posts; nothing new; no progress
