InterContinental Hotels Group reported a 31 percent dip in first-half 2003 profits on Friday and said it saw little evidence of a recovery in trading. The group, which operates InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels, posted pre-tax profits of 92 million pounds for the six months to June 30 ahead of analyst forecasts of around 73-83 million pounds.
