Chris good stratergy. Only got a handfull myself going. Worst one being a defensive LOL............... TATE....... only a few hundred quid down. ohhhh Barclays aswel forgot them that again next to nothing down.

Just had a quick look around advfn and the number of posters I keep seeing saying that they are taking a hiding on a big folio aswel.

Madness.

Mind skinny seems to be doing well with some of his stocks.

Must admit I cant keep full concentration on the job being here on holiday, think I needed it tho as had a very heavy last 18 months , never ever again.

goldfinger - 20 Jun 2013 16:09 - 706 of 2763

Sugar its getting towards my next target 6150.

Wouldnt think the world was supposed to be in recovery mode.

Looks like most investors prefer a weak global economy and artificial stimulus.

As usual the rich wide boys(Soros) will be making a mint and making matters worse.

skinny - 20 Jun 2013 16:09 - 707 of 2763

Is a small congestion area 6100 late Jan Early Feb but yep I can see your 5900 resistance/support line mid Sept 2012 to Jan 2013.

Hope it doesnt get that bad or some commentators will say were back in a Bear market.

goldfinger - 20 Jun 2013 16:24 - 710 of 2763

Back up a little 6150 holding........just.

Wish Id bought TED now what a numpty, humming and harring at the open. sch sch sch ............s-ite.

Up over 16%.

Did get AHT though and DXN was doing well but faded.

goldfinger - 20 Jun 2013 19:49 - 711 of 2763

Nice uptrend channel developed here ready to jump on the trade at any time now.
2 upper ceilings given depending on strength of the upward momentum at the time.

Both lower indicators looking positive with blue line drawn to show a support level on them. Momentum oscillator obviously will depend on overal market conditions but its nearing the support of recent times.

cynic - 21 Jun 2013 10:56 - 718 of 2763

cash dow is looking very perky, so just possibly there'll be a big surge tonight, even if only to take advantage of the 500+ point drop of the last 2 days

goldfinger - 21 Jun 2013 11:00 - 719 of 2763

Yep was thinking same.

Still think itl be a tight 6200...... 6400 summer range.

The drop was obviously well over done, ........fingers crossed.

skinny - 21 Jun 2013 11:02 - 720 of 2763

I know you love to trade ARM,do you think we could see a bounce back soon,i see it has broken down through its 200ma and stochastic is trying to come off the bottom.

skinny - 21 Jun 2013 12:21 - 723 of 2763

The recent Samsung/Intel news isn't helping the likes of ARM or WLF - ARM Plunges After Samsung Picks Intel Chip for Tablet

goldfinger - 21 Jun 2013 12:24 - 724 of 2763

Its all got a bit technical with ARM Roselea, technical I mean with the chips and competitors.

Ive taken my eye off the ball thier, im not sure what the present state of play is to be honest.

ANYONE else know the present state of the business?, I think its Samsung thats put a spanner in the works.
