Up nearlly 15% today and I beleive there could be more to come.
Evil Knievil has tipped it on EvilCast and has bought in 100,000 worth of stock a notifiable interest. He rates the management very highly and says they are attracting all the big bookmakers to the online casino site including punters the likes of William Hill, Chandler, and Ladbrokes. The company are now running at a profit every month and should break into a yearly profit from the years previous loss very soon. The company also ownes in partnership with a Swiss firm Boss another casino site and by all accounts that is doing well.
Im looking at this one as a momentum play pretty high risk as there are competitors out there but I feel the management will give it the edge.
Please DYOR, and remember you are responsible for your own buying and selling actions.
cheers GF.

someone's picking these up at 12p and has been for the last few days...
online you can buy upto 375k at 12p....
a stake is being built quietly.....
why did EK top up at 12.5p when he could have looked at the chart, waited and picked them up cheaper thus lowering his average....

Be very wary of making false predictions. I worked for Vodafone when a hand prtable phone with car kit was selling for 3000 and when told by the then chairman, Gerry Went, that there would be 10mill users by the turn of the century thought he was mad....just look at it now. 19mill users in the UK alone. The consensus in 2000 was that there would be annual revenues of $10bn for on-line gaming by the end of 2005. That figure has already been surpassed by some 25%.
The mobile gaming side is NOT aimed at the PC user it is aimed at a totally seperate and currently, under utilised sector of casual gambler. Europe has some 150 million mobile users (including Eastern Europe) but the server is available world wide. If only 1% of the available European base uses WAP server mobile gambling then we will see 1.5mill users in this region alone. Again offering a basic gaming revenue loss by each player of 5 a month this equates to 7.5mill a month is win alone. The figures are huge and this is precisely why a figure of 59BILLION has been put on the eventual amount wagered.
If we look at that 59billion and(using the figures on the Orange site) with a 95.5% payout the take by the operators will be somewhere around 265.5mill profits a year.
I am sure I would be happy sitting where GMC are now with regards to this sector.

picked up a few while the price stays down--it'll fly again soon IMO. if Evil paid 12.5 and he's close to the company I'm confident.

Lord Buffett,
Thanks for your opinion. I always value a well-reasoned counterpoint.
Now that the institutions are the largest stakeholders in GMC, as opposed
to the directors, I really don't think that matters in terms of a buy-out.
If someone comes along with an offer for the company which'll see the
institutions reap a profit, then they'll sell.
I'm thinking, if we see an offer made in the autumn, it'll be for about
30-35p per share (that could change if GMC signs a new mobile deal, or if
we start seeing some good results from the Orange deal). That sort of
figure will set the institutions up nicely, so why wouldn't they sell?
In the long-term, I don't think GMC are going to become another SportingBet.
Don't get me wrong, the prospects for the company are great, especially if
the mobile gaming stuff takes off, and we see further deals made. However,
it's my hypothesis that the Drummonds have told the institutions that an
exit strategy will be a main part of the game plan. The institutions were
convinced that if they bought in at 14p, then they'll see a double bagger
before the end of the year.
I think this is a strong possibility. Of course, I'm going to cover my ass
here by saying anything could still happen (and it could!) - mobile gaming
could really be a hit and turn GMC into a money-printing machine, or we could
see some other deal being made, I don't know.
However, I don't think GMC will flounder, nor will the SP see 10p ever again.

Simon Cawkwell or Evil Knievil is a big share holder in GMC. He had Mr Drummond around for luncheon and says that things are really blazing ahead at Gaming Corporation. It is only a matter of time before this is reflected in the share price.
Keep the faith.

DB66, doesn't 'bare' thinking about!!
Happy to have a stake in GMC at the moment. Felt slightly nervous when it seemed to be going backwards last week, but it did appear to be getting marked down on relatively few sells. Looking forward to next week.
