I find this thread very useful to see how others are "thinking". I would like to see it as a pemanent feature.

But as it gets bigger it might be difficult to dive in and out of.

I think that if some body adds a graph to the thread it might be useful to attempt and index.

Perhaps copying the index as one add "Your Chart".

Fred - could I suggest you use a smaller chart size 360 or 460? This should aid the load time.

Fred1new - 18 Jan 2010 14:03 - 74 of 3532

I will think about but sometimes find the larger size demonstrates more useful detail.

cynic - 18 Jan 2010 14:07 - 75 of 3532

it can also be a lot easier to read
this thread is much more for instant gratification than using the specific threads

goldfinger - 18 Jan 2010 15:06 - 76 of 3532

"this thread is much more for instant gratification than using the specific threads " ....cynic 18/01/2010.

Why cyners do you get off on it???????????????????????????????????????????????. Bucket at the ready ...or should that be egg cup???????????.

Like ive said before you can use this thread to sound out ideas that you dont already have a holding in, you can use this thread to post a trading system, you can use this thread to post and ask questions about any aspect of TA.

You can use this thread for illustration purposes.

You can use this thread to pass on ideas..... like does anyone like computerised systems picking out stock patterns for you???????????????????????????, heres one and one I ve made a mint out of repeatedly eg, got Peter Hambro at about 3 early last year and now look at the price...............

Might have to be a member to log in and see this but its free. Takes about a minute to sign up and believe me this systenm is used by some of the big Fund managers to stock pick.

OK you have to be carefull with the patterns produced on more volatile smaller companys but believe me it works if you can recognise the TA patterns.

cheers.

Think weve all been caught out with this inflation rise mitzy.

Rather worrying to see US futures so negative especially after a big down day last trading day.

Mitzy,

I don't know why I spend any time on MM.

Here is (for me) an interesting set of charts.

If I didn't know the company and held their shares for too long, would consider watching and buying.

I am not suggesting anyone should do so..

However what interested me is 3 large buys (for this Company) of 2millions each totalling in value 24000.

Peanuts, but nevertheless large for this company for this usual levels.

Indicators, not of much note, but short MA are in upturn.

Fundamentals less than impressive and no RNS or other news,

Why the buys????

Comments maybe interesting.

In to-day's bleak market any good news would be well received.
