CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 17 Sep 2005 08:35 - 7176 of 24230

Good morning all, all the night owls have gone then? I'll call the council recycling truck to take away all the empty bottles.

jeffmack - 17 Sep 2005 13:21 - 7177 of 24230

Hi Socs
Just taking a break from lopping 2ft off of my conifer hedges. bloody hard work.

Socrates - 17 Sep 2005 14:38 - 7178 of 24230

Jeffmack
Yes I can imagine it is hard work. I'm afraid I would have called in the professionals, they would do it in a fraction of the time, shredded all the cuttings and disappeared before lunch. You'd be sitting in you comfy chair relaxing and saying, it's only money!

Just back from renewing my car insurance, managed to get same terms with a saving of 75, now that is what I call a result. Big name insurance company too, no fly by nights that you can't talk to when you need help.

optomistic - 17 Sep 2005 14:48 - 7179 of 24230

Hi folks I trimmed my conifers with a chain saw, not a bit of trouble now :-)
Nice move with the insurance Socs, shows what can be saved when you look around.

Socrates - 17 Sep 2005 15:11 - 7180 of 24230

Hi Opto, yes I was concerned not to lose any cover and any of the extras like courtesy car, etc., otherwise I might have saved even more.

Socrates - 17 Sep 2005 23:58 - 7181 of 24230

Oh well, I can't sit here all night chatting, I need my beauty sleep. Good night all.

Socrates - 18 Sep 2005 09:00 - 7182 of 24230

Good morning. Breakfast is new being served, FEB with all the trimmings including Bucks Fizz for those inclined that way.

Just a small warning for anyone who receives an e-mail request from Ebay of any kind that involves entering their user name and password, EBAY DO NOT DO THIS FOR ANY REASON. It will be a fraud attempt, currently known as phishing.

Forward the e-mail to

spoof@ebay.co.uk

and you will get an e-mail saying they will investigate followed by another telling you it is fraudulent.

Are you sure this isn't the talking to yourself thread?

Quite sure, they don't have a hammock.

Fundamentalist - 18 Sep 2005 23:05 - 7185 of 24230

Evening all

Socrates - 19 Sep 2005 08:27 - 7186 of 24230

Good morning anybody. Yes, it really is Socco in the morning, but don't get your hopes up, it is only temporary. Off to North Wales for a few days so I will miss your merry banter.

Now let's have a look and see what the market is doing. Ooh what fun!

DD
There is no hotter traffic light spot than Cheltenham.
